I’ve been on the fence with buying one for over a year and finally pulled the trigger on a Bonfire. I am extremely impressed with the design and quality of the stove. The fire started up almost immediately with minimal kindling or tending to, burned so efficiently that there were no leftover chunks of coal the next morning, and it was smokeless enough that I went to bed wearing the same tshirt that I sat by the fire with, and didn’t bring the campfire smell inside with me AT ALL. I was nervous about the Bonfire being too small for store-bought firewood, but I had no issues to speak of. I would only suggest that you buy a spark screen and/or lid, as the sparks were shooting out fairly high, and you need to let the fire burn out completely, so a lid would offer some peace of mind if you’re trying to go to bed and there are still some hot coals in your solo stove. Yes, it’s a pricey investment, but it’s hands-down the best firepit on the market and an absolute gamechanger for our backyard

Great device. Air flow allows fuels to burn more thoughly, significantly reducing smoke byproduct. The heat deflector helps radiate heat out to the sides instead of straight up, providing warmth to those sitting nearby.

This is the perfect size for our deck. We can comfortably fit 4-5 people around it. While it does smoke less, I would not consider it 100% 'smokeless'. It could be related to the wood we use or who builds/tends the fire etc. I can wear my hoodie more than once after enjoying a fire. I never have to move because the smoke is relentlessly hitting me in the face which is nice. The cover works well and the design for the stove is solid. It is very sturdy and no rust so far. We cover it but store it on our deck with no issues. I do recommend this bonfire stove.

This is super nice and once it is heated up good, very little smoke, it any. Its nice. Comes with a lid so you can cover it when finished. Good value compared to competition.

Love this pit. Easy to assemble. Keeps my gazebo nice and toasty. Recommend using logs that were inside. I brought some that were outside a store and they smoked a lot more than the dry ones. Which also caused an ecxess amount of popping embers. Overall very good quality. Watching the double burn will have you mesmerized. It has a nice amount of weight. It doesn't get blown around in this Colorado wind.

Good product overall—works well and burns very efficiently. However, it rusts very easily if it gets wet or when firewood releases moisture.

I regret not buying this Solo Stove sooner for bonfires! My kids loves fire pits and doing bonfires. I decided to get one for Halloween so we could sit out on the driveways to scare trick-or-treaters. This year, it rained and was down in the 30s. This stove worked perfectly and kept us warm. It truly was smokeless and the only time there was smoke was when my son threw paper into the stove. It looks beautiful and classy. It didn’t burn through the wood super fast, and we actually had leftover wood. Kids loved roasting marshmallow. The fire burned smoothly. I did purchase a mat to place this on since I didn’t want any damage to my driveway. While I didn’t assemble or clean up, my husband did. He was initially a total skeptic when I bought it, but surprisingly had very nice things to say about it at the end of the night after using the stove. He did everything with little to no complaints. He said it was super easy to put together, use, and clean up. It has a removable ash tray that pulls out to empty. A quick wipe down to clean, and it went back into the storage bag it came with. No fuss. Simple. I would highly recommend this stove! Great for creating memories and keeping you warm outdoors!

I’ve been very happy with the Solo Stove Bonfire. It’s just the right size and weight to be portable without feeling flimsy. Easy to move around the yard, but still solid and well built. The biggest standout is the reduced smoke. Compared to traditional fire pits, it produces noticeably less smoke once it’s up to temperature, which makes sitting around it much more comfortable. You still get the full fire pit experience without constantly shifting seats to avoid smoke. Despite the cleaner burn, it puts out a lot of heat. It warms the area well and is great for cooler evenings. The included stand, lid, and shelter are nice additions and make storage and setup simple. Overall, this is a well-designed fire pit that delivers strong heat, cleaner burning, and a size that’s practical for regular use.
