Starpath Asian Girl Doll – Premium 18' Vinyl Toy, Fits American Girl Doll Clothes

I ordered this doll two days ago and it arrived on our doorstep today. It was a surprise for my 4-year-old daughter who has sometimes loved and sometimes completely ignored her baby dolls. She was THRILLED to see this beautiful "big girl" doll, as was I. My daughter immediately said, "I love her beautiful dress!" and talked about the clothes on the other Starpath dolls (in a photo on the box) as being things she'd like to have, too. She played with her right away, showing how she could walk and sit.I am impressed by this doll's beautiful hair, which behaves like real hair rather than the plasticky, stiff hair on the heads of most dolls. The doll also has a very pretty face and a content, confident-looking expression. We have not yet customized the story books but my daughter pointed to the one she was most interested in and we look forward to doing that very soon. I also really appreciate that there is such a beautiful Asian doll for her to play with. My daughter is Asian and it's not always easy to find characters in books or toys that look or are said to be from Asia. Thank you for this wonderful toy, which I think she will love for years to come.

I sew doll clothes for 18 inch dolls and none of the clothes fit. The top of the legs and the torso were too large. So it was misleading in the description saying that clothes for American Girl dolls would fit this doll.

Bought this doll as a gift for a 10 year old. I thought I was buying an American Doll but when the doll arrived I discovered it wasn’t. I was not disappointed at all as I thought it was a quality made doll and the outfit she came in was beautiful and well constructed. She has gorgeous hair and her facial features are very life like. I am more than satisfied with the quality of this doll for the price I paid.

Wishing star is an amazingly beautiful doll. The Linda Mason sculpt is prefect, and certainly not as expensive as her artist dolls. We love that Wishing star is now a member of our family of dolls and looking forward to making clothes for her. Her eyes are perfect and her hair is long and rich. A must for any collector and a great addition for any child who loves the 18inch dolls.

She is even more beautiful than the pics! She is a tad larger than other 18" dolls, so it may not be a perfect fit when buying or sewing more form fitting clothes.
