Good, cheap replacement for my original Dell charger. There are just a couple unfortunate aspects:1) High pitch noise when plugged into the wall but not plugged into the laptop. This is typically associated with vibration of electrical components used in the switch mode power supply circuitry. I just unplug it when not charging my laptop to avoid the noise.2) No ground connection.3) Dell laptops at bootup will warn that an incorrect charger is connected. You can disable this in the bios settings.Minor complaints, but very light weight and doesn't run too hot.

Charger works but it is not well made and does not last long if you are constantly unpacking it due to being with a laptop. Mine had the cord short out and it was past the warranty time. Due to cheap cost I just ordered another one.

Works for me though it makes weird noises...I unplug it when I leave the room in case it decides to catch fire...

excellent deal on this charger, it has been working well since my purchase for my daughyter's laptop. at 25% the price of auniversal charger at an office supply store and 10% the cost of a new charger from dell. I am quite happy with this purchase.

GREAT BACK UP CHARGER HAVE THEM HIDDEN FOR EMERGENCY USE AT MY DIFFERENT HOUSES AND IN SUITCASE....IF I EAVE IT SOMEWHERE NOT A SUPER $$$$ PANIC...

I've had this for almost 6 months and I haven't had any problems with it. It's lighter than the genuine Dell unit which gives the impression that it's cheaper. But it works just fine.
