Will hold up against slapshots
As many have said, the zip ties are quite weak, but putting a small strip of hockey tape is enough to keep it on. I've got it on my blade for street hockey, and I can hit slapshots without it breaking.

Careful
Seems like a great product/deal, but I broke 2 on a shot each. They don't last long. I am a 29 adult league player though. So for little kids it might be ok. Hope this helps someone.

Saves you money on sticks!
I bought these stick protectors because I have to tape the bottom of my stick all the time to keep from wearing out the coating over the lamanite on the very bottom of my stick.I've had to replace my sticks often because during the night of roller hockey the tape sometimes wears off and I don't notice it. Then the bottom of the stick gets worn through and the laminations separate thus making the stick junk.I put one of these on my new stick a couple of weeks ago and so far I think it's really good!I don't know if the protector helps or not but it seems that my shot has improved quite a bit.We use a hockey ball and we play on a roller rink wood floor.The protector seems to grip the ball when I shoot and it seems that my shot is more accurate.So do I recommend these for your stick... yes I do!For the money it's worth trying isn't it?I know that when my stick protector wears out, I'll be ordering a new one!

Decent, but one already broke
The material is just a bit cheap. My seven year old broke one on the first day of using it. Great for the garage and stickhandling though.

Great product
Bought for my sons for roller hockey sticks, the zip ties aren’t really the most durable but we taped over this for extra protection and it worked perfectly. Keeps the sticks from being damaged. And so reasonable compared to other similar products.

Works well with youth hockey sticks
Bought these for my son's off ice playing he does on concrete drive way. He goes through them fairly quickly like 1 a month but saves his stick so happy about that. Cheap and works well.
