3s and 4S news
This is a nice little charger and Battery for the carbon cub. But I wanted to expand so I bought a Timber evolution now I need a 4S battery and this will only charge 3s. So I would recommend if you ever want to go for it to buy it now 3s 4s whatever you're going to get into and get the charger you want right off the bat and happy flying.

Good beginner set up but you will want to upgrade to a charger that allows discharging for storage.
Charger didn't work . Vendor sent a replacement immediately.

great battery with modern features
Really nice battery and charger. I love that it's a gen 2 battery. It auto-discharges, so you don't damage the battery in storage with a full charge, and it no longer requires the battery to have a separate charging/ballast cable. It kind of takes care of itself. Works nicely with a lot of RC aircraft. I haven't used it much, but the two flying sessions I had with it were great. Long life and more power than I needed. Pretty standard equipment, everybody uses these, and they're obviously well built. No surprises there. Def recommend.

Save your money and buy the battery and charger seperate, this charger is junk
I bought this as it was what was recommended, by the manufacture of the plane I bought. Im keeping the battery and throwing the charger in the trash. I am using a laptop usb-c charger, so it should have no problem getting full power to charge. I put the battery on the charger at 2pm today it is now 7pm and it still is not done charging. I ordered another charger to take the place of this one, which is a higher output charger. Im going to with hold my thoughts on the batteries until I have a chance to use them.

These have been great! This battery runs my SCX10 for well over an hour! The G2 smart battery is perfect for me as I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a balance charger. The G2 battery balance charges, and will automatically discharge to 50% after 3 days of sitting(LiPo batteries need to be stored at 50%). So if you don’t want to spend a ton of money on a fancy balance charger, get the G2 series - it’s the perfect combo for beginners. Also - I store my LiPo battery in a LiPo safe bag, plus a metal ammo box.
