Bang for your buck
I seen refuse on this saying that the screws in the tires would strip while trying to put the brake on. I did not have these issues at all. I also seen a review stating that if you have wider feet, you will find that they will be uncomfortable I have particularly Wide feet and I believe they are rather comfortable. Durability seems to be good wheels are a medium quality overall goodbye

It Has Been 25 Years Since I Have Skated…
The media could not be loaded. Let’s start where I believed all 5’6 in height and 250 lbs of me had no business being on skates again… These surprisingly brought my confidence back up with their sturdiness and glide. I also really love that these come in solid black, and don’t light up. I’m too introverted for that.I previously attempted purchasing a far more cheaper set of skates, and that didn’t go as well due to not having much ankle support. They were those $50-mesh-shoe type-adjustable-skates. I could barely stand up in those. No thank you, ma’am.So after researching a bit more I found these. The full plastic casing definitely has better support and stability. I’m a size US 9 men’s/10.5 women’s so I thought I needed a size up for extra toe space, but nope. They fit perfectly and true to size.Due to my weight and fresh flat feet; the insoles they come with are not it, sis. So I’d definitely recommend switching out the insoles if you have trouble standing or riding in them for long amount of time. That’s what I did and now my feet aren’t hurting as much anymore :)While the straps feel better than what I’ve tried before, they aren’t necessarily the highest of quality; nor are the skates overall, but so far… I love them. For me, If I’m consistent enough, I’ll invest into an even better pair one day.I was never a professional skater or athletic in anyway. Just a child who used to be heavily into X-Games once upon a time, and interested in skating recreationally again after 25 years. I feel these are nice to restart in.If I can get back into it, you can too! I believe in you .^_^.

These brought me back to the 90s
I bought these skates for myself knowing that at the end of last school year I would be attending a skate party with all of our 4th graders. Let me tell you, I have not been on skates in YEARS! I'm talking a good 20 years since I've rollerbladed. I used to think I was decent at it, but a 2-decade break hit me with the reality that my skating abilities had greatly diminished. However, I was able to assemble these skates and wear them for the entire 3-hour party, while deeply confusing and impressing some of my students who had probably hoped to see me wipe out. Thankfully, I retained enough skill to stay standing. I credit this to the skates. They are well designed and easy to adjust. I will be wearing them to this year's upcoming skate party and have been encouraged to get in some practice before then. The most complicated part was installing the break, but honestly, that was probably my fault and not the skate design. All necessary tools came in the packaging. I ordered according to their size chart and they fit perfectly. If I'd gone by my assumed shoe size, they would have been too big.Highly recommend. Show those kids you've still got (some) of it.

Awesome
So far I’ve only used them once, but they are easy to put on, seem very durable and not flimsy leading to me believing I won’t hurt myself *too badly* because when using them, I feel very stable and not going to roll my ankle or fall frequently. Not to mention, I LOVE that the are BLACK!!!! I just wanted a solid color, not the ones with the weird childish lit up wheels ugh

The cap screws that secure the brake are very soft and strip or break off very easilly.
When installing the brake the first cap screw stripped without much torque applied. I was really careful with the next cap screw and the head broke off. I was able to drill-out the screw and tap in an extractor and remove that axle. This ruined the axle as far as re-using it goes. However there were a few spare axles included. Also the rockered wheels are fine for advanced skaters. I would not recommend rockered wheels for beginners. If you are an advanced "skilled" skater the rockered wheel set up should be fine. If you are going to install the brake, I would strongly suggest upgrading to harder (better) cap screws. A really good Hardware store should be able to help you with that.

Wheels wear down quickly
My daughter skates on our street every day for about a half hour. We have found the wheels only last about 3 months. The wheels are expensive so we often just buy a new pair.

Great customer service!
Update to my below review:I was contacted by the seller and quickly received a replacement pair of these rollerblades. My daughter was so happy and so was I. Shes back to rollerblading and loving the product once again! My 14 year old loves these rollerblades and used them probably 15 times in less than 90 days until the front wheel fell off tonight while wearing them. Fingers crossed that a trip to Lowe’s will help us find a part to put it back on. Otherwise I’ve just wasted $100.
