My daughter needed a new umbrella for her school backpack, so was looking for something that was pretty small, easy to use, and yet had good coverage. I'll admit, this umbrella caught my eye because of the awesome print on the underneath side of the umbrella so I thought I'd give it a try.To my daughter's delight, the umbrella is nearly perfect for her! It was indeed easy to use, but when she popped it open she literally gasped when she saw the underneath side of the umbrella, an instant hit.I say nearly perfect, because I do have one thing I'd recommend the manufacturer improve on. The storage sleeve is just a tiny bit too tight in my opinion, it makes it hard to get the umbrella back into he sleeve. It's do-able, just takes a minute or two to get it on. The benefit I suppose is that when it's back on it retains its tiny footprint, but I feel like if it was just a bit bigger it would be a perfect umbrella.

I am changing my review of this umbrella. Initially I did like it. Aesthetically it is pretty. Functionality was good. However durability was terrible. I barely owned this umbrella before it started falling apart which has never happened to any of my umbrellas of the past. The little metal pieces that keep the fabric on the metal spokes rusted to the point that it came apart in several places and I had to throw it away. Wasted money. I went back to the tried and true Totes and I'm sure that will last for several years.

When it is raining and you are in the car, you open the door a small bit and hold the umbrella up and push the button. Easy pleasey.. The same for retracting it. Get back into the car and while it is still outside of the car, push the button and it retracts and you don't get wet like using a conventional umbrella.

I like the style of the umbrella but it is a little heavy with the extra interior lining. It is a cheery way to greet a rainy day. It is a good size for one person and opens and closes easily.

Neat concept but doesnt seem like the greatest quality. I don't know how it will last in the long term.

Just like one of the reviews I read, overall it's pretty good, but the sleeve/holder is a bit tight, so I don't bother to use it.

Umbrella is as expected, sturdy, behaves great in windy weather and handy when you need it to open qucikly. The only aspect, which I thought would be better is the black top. I would have preferred navy blue, personally.

I haven't had a chance to test it in very windy conditions, but it looks like it should be okay given how well made it is. I'll update this review once I have had some experience with windy conditions.
