What to know before ordering - but do order!
I've purchased many Five Fingers over the past 10 years, even though they last a long time. I have discovered that any of the shoes based on the KSO Evo sole pattern run small. In the product image, that's the orange bottom sole, not the inner sole. I thought I was buying an old favorite but got mixed up and when I saw the sole and tried to put on my size, I knew they were too small. This sole is identical to the V-Soul and older Encana's pattern which also run small (I ordered them and returned them in the past). How small? Two sizes too small. I am a 40 in all other Vibram shoes of which I have many. Size in this style, KSO Evo, 41 allows for socks although snug, size 42 is perfect. Note that this is one of the thinnest soled, most barefoot style shoe but it is slim fitting, no Hobbit feet. If you don't like really a thin sole, just get a pair of 3/4 inserts at the grocery or pharmacy and you will be all set. So be sure to check the sole style of any Vibram you buy and if it is just like this one, order up 2 sizes.

Wore a hole in the sole after only a month :(
I will start by saying I love vibram 5-finger shoes. I wear them every day that I possibly can and this is my 5th pair. However, they stopped making my favorite model so I decided to try these. They are a beautiful mint color and VERY cute, but they run small (which is managaable but worth noting.) However, they have one HUGE problem. After one month of wearing them on walks about 4-5 days a week, they had a hole That wore through the sole. As in my foot is touching concrete with every step. The whole is the size of a dime. With my other vibrams this would usually happen between 12-18 months, which is fine by me as I walk quite regularly, it seemed a fair lifespan for a shoe. But a month???? That's insane. Especially for a pair of $100+ shoes. They need thicker or more durable soles. You might be fine with these if you don't plan to get a lot of mileage but otherwise I can't recommend them. Worst of all, as I was just past the 30 day mark, I can't get a refund or exchange. Very disappointed in that policy. If I had bought these at REI I could have gotten a full refund no questions asked. (I don't work for REI just love their return policy and what it says about them standing behind their products.)

Amazing!
These are my third pair of Vibrams and I’m impressed! They aren’t the prettiest colors and catch a bit more attention, but they are just as good of quality as my other Vibrams and allow great grip when I climb trucks at my work and are really nice for walking around the office. These KSOs really help me feel the ground when moving heavier items and can’t look down which is nice. I also have the V-Aquas, and the V-Trek. Both are also amazing shoes if you are an outdoors person like me! I don’t think I can ever wear normal shoes again Vibrams are so comfortable! I pretty much walk around barefoot, wear slides, flip flops, or wear my Vibrams now. I bought the KSOs to wear to work because my tennis shoes would hurt my feet by end of day and my boots are too clunky for climbing. I ordered them in my normal size and they fit like a glove! It does feel like the toe pockets go to low by a few mm and dig between two of my toes on the left shoe, but none of my toes are scrunched in the shoe, the right foot feels just fine, and the next size up is too big. I’m sending these back since it looks like a factory defect in the internal stitching causing the discomfort. Ill update these once my new pair get here. I truly doubt I’ll be disappointed once I find a properly fitting pair.

Too narrow and too long
I liked these shoes so much, I ordered a second pair in a larger size after the first pair was too narrow. However, the next size up was not quite as narrow, but too long for my toes to fit into the toe glove. They appeared to be of great quality, and very lightweight, which is exactly what I was looking for. That is why I gave them three stars. For the right foot, I believe these would be great shoes.

Measure against the company's website!
I originally ordered these in a size 9 based on multiple product reviews stating that these run small. This was my first pair of FiveFingers, so I went with the reviews rather than my actual measurements. I am a solid 7 1/2 in practically every shoe I own - I only size up for hiking shoes because my feet may swell after multiple days of long hikes. The size 9 was WAY too big - my heel wasn't cupped properly, and the toes were much too long for safe wear. The size 8 fits as I expected based on the fit of the size 9. My big toe fits tightly in the shoe, but not uncomfortable. I expect the shoes will stretch within a few wears so I am not particularly worried about that. My heel fits snugly in the shoe, but the other 4 toes are a bit long. I am keeping the shoes and am really happy with the fit. In fact, I will probably order multiple varieties of these shoes. I did not buy these for running; I bought these for general cross training in my home (I currently wear socks, so this is actually a step up in terms of stability), and to wear for water crossings and as camp shoes while I'm hiking/backpacking. For anyone who is interested in lightweight camp shoes, these definitely fit the bill! The size 8 pair weighs 6.8 ounces. So, I would recommend measuring your foot with a ruler and comparing against Vibram's website. If I had used my measurements I would have ordered the correct size the first time. It was no big deal as I had free shipping and returns, but for anyone who doesn't want to deal with the hassle, use a ruler!

Comfortable! But be careful with the shoe size!!!
I’m a gym enthusiast and work out 5days a week. I have a lot of gym shoes and rotate them daily because none of them are perfectly comfortable. I often experience foot pain during workouts. Recently my coach recommended these shoes to me ( I had never heard of them before). I decided to give them a try, and they are much more comfortable than I expected ! These shoes are especially great for glute training as they provide excellent stability for my lower buddy. I also wear them on the stairs machine , and they feel amazing —- I no longer experience the foot pain I used to . I highly recommend them ! ***BTW, the KSO EVO is great for fitness and functional training. I was so impressed that I also purchased the V-Train 2.0 for weightlifting. ***IMPORTANT: Be very careful with sizing. I think this is why people return them and leave bad reviews. I usually wear a size 6.5 , but with vibram , I had to size up to an 8! I recommend going at least one size or even two size ,larger than your usual size! This is my first review on Amazon because I’ve finally found the right size after purchasing vibram shoes three times. I’m so happy I can now wear them comfortably to work out in the gym, I hope this review helps!

Five toesie shoes
I love my five toe shoes. I get blisters between my toes in regular shoes. My toes do not rub against each other in the five toe shoes so I do not get blisters. Win. I trip less in these shoes too. It seems like I walk better when there’s less between my foot and the ground. These shoes are pretty easy to get on when you find the right angle. If I’m having trouble, rotating my foot usually gets me the right angle to fit my toes in their spots. Downside is that these shoes wear out fast. I got holes in my first pair in 6 months. So I got another. There are other Vibram varieties that are hardier for everyday wear but I have not liked the fit of those. I try to get the on sale colors. These shoes are thin and you will feel it if you walk around on damp grass or wet mud. Beware when following dogs.

Poor fitting and painful to put on! 😣
These shoes are way off in sizing! Also if your toes are not perfect and curl in like mine, I would definitely look for another sneaker. They are almost impossible to put on! A complete waste of time and money.
