Very pretty in my kitchen.
I haven't used this yet. But, I really got it because it is the perfect color for my kitchen. I hope to use it soon but it is just so pretty I don't want to mess it up.

Satisfied my expectations!
The media could not be loaded. It’s exactly what I expected. Cooks great fried chicken. The perfect size for my husband and I. Now I don’t have to pull out the big deep fryer.

Thin, Cheap, Painted BUT Awesome Feature!!! Read on. .
*** EDITED AGAIN *** I Returned this pot as after a few uses, take a look at the bottom of the pot. . it has burn stains on it that will not come off with an abrasive sponge. . .and I feel that if I use something more abrasive like Steel Wool, it's going to take the paint off of it. I returned the item and ended up ordering a Stainless Steel Tempura pot for like $33. .a little more $$$ but it looks WAY more substantial with a thick, stainless steel base. I'll definitely write a review of that one when I get it. . thanks! *** EDITED: I Upgraded this little pot to a 3 since the next closest pot I found that had this feature (the ability to still use as oil/candy thermometer without having to leave the lid partially off so the oil doesn't splatter and trash the stove top!) was like 4 times as expensive. I purchased this Digital Candy Thermometer, with a 10" stem and tiltable readout for $16 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DMNV1M41) and the hole in the existing glass lid was JUST a bit too small, but since it has a little steel insert in the hole, I was able to use a 5/32 drill and CAREFULLY enlarge the hole just a bit ~ the Candy Thermometer fits RIGHT THROUGH with like zero slop! It's PERFECT! No splatter, no mess, no cleaning the glass stove top with burned on oil! Now I just hope that the bottom holds up as it's already getting burn marks and I've only used it 3 times. . .we'll see. 🤞 OLDER REVIEW: It's very hard to find a quality deep frying pot that is tall and skinny. I want to be able to deep fry a small number of Chicken Wings. . .like 4 at a time, max. I don't want to have to use a gallon of oil to suffiently submerge them. This pot is great for that, COULD be a bit taller but being only 6" in diameter means I can use 1 standard container of oil and it's great. Only thing is this pot is cheaply made. Thin, light, painted. . .used it once and bottom is already burned and I'm afraid to scrub too hard or the paint will come off. Also saw in the instructions that if it's not going to be used "for a while" to keep a light coat of oil on it. That must be why some other reviews says that it rusts. This thing is worth maybe $10. . for $20 I'd expect a thicker, more quality product.

I love it
Great product. My son and I prepped about 80 eggrolls. 4 types (20 each type). We did this so he could have some easy after school snacks he could fry on his own. We tested it, and was able to fit 3 overly stuffed peach cobbler eggrolls in the basket with no problem.

Scratch resistant coating disintegrated and peeled off after two uses.
I've been looking for what we used to call a FryBaby, mini-electric deep fryer, which is smaller than the Fry Daddy. They're not there anymore, so tried this one on my smooth top electric range, and initially I loved it. It's attractive enough to leave on the counter with the oil in it, if using it often. And unlike the electric fryer, you can immerse it to wash.UNFORTUNATELY, after just two uses, I placed it in the sink with water and liquid soap to soak overnight, and the black scratch resistant coating cracked and peeled loose. I'm now using it as a plant pot.

Perfect little pot
Is the perfect little pot but big enough for what I needed. A grease pot to keep on the stove for my son to do hid food frying. It holds a few chicken wings or french fries deep in the pan in the basket that holds them into the grease without the worry of grease splatter. It is just deep enough and comes with a lid. The color is vibrant .
