This isn't much of a cooling towel, more like a lukewarm wet towel. I soaked it in ice water, wrung it out and snapped it a few times and it never got very cold, but it was nice to wipe the sweat off my face.

It works awesome! I live in Phoenix, AZ and this summer (2017) has been particularly brutal with temps never below 110 F. relentlessly, So this towel help to deal with the heat. Good product.
