I looked at a lot of "Learn to Embroider" kits and I'm so glad I got this one. It walks you through four different sample fabrics so you can learn a lot of different stitches. The instruction book will be great to refer back to, and if you're not sure, you can easily scan the QR code for a brief video that details the stitch. Love it! It comes with everything you need to get started, and I especially appreciate the needle threader. Great kit!

This kit is great. The linen fabric is preprinted with multiple rows of the stitches to get plenty of opportunity to try your hand at perfecting that embroidery stitch. Embroidery thread colors provided are bright and colorful to use when trying your hand at various embroidery stitches. The part I liked best was the tutorial book and access to the You Tube videos using the URL code for each of the different stitches. Being able to pause and reverse and rewatch it multiple times was perfect to learn some of the more difficult stitches. I highly recommend this product. Great beginner friendly guide.

I bought this kit as I wanted to see whether embroidery was for me as well as get some practice with a few of the basic stitches.As the kit says, it includes everything you need to get started - an embroidery hoop, scissors, a needle threader, a seam ripper, four needles, four cloths with printing, and a LOT of embroidery floss (I ended up with a fair amount extra of each color.)None of the stuff is super high quality...which is expected for a $20 kit. (I suspect that I'm going to replace the scissors and hoop at some point since, y'know, why not?) But it does have EVERYTHING.The instructions were clear and also included links to videos that I could watch if I was having trouble with a stitch (@#$# french knots, @#$#). So that was helpful and useful.I also liked that there was a fair range of stitches (I think they said 29, but three were repeats) included, so I felt like I learned a lot. The instructions also clarified when someone might use one type vs. another. I also liked that, once I'd finished them, I had them "saved" on cloth to reference.My embroidery, of course, didn't turn out as good as featured in the pictures...which wasn't unexpected. (I mean, I'm a total amateur.) But I think I did okay.Regardless, if embroidery is something you're interested in trying, I feel like this kit is a good value for money, easy to follow, and pretty helpful. So definitely recommended.

I am giving 4 stars because the fabric is dreadful. I transferred the designs to a high quality piece of fabric from another vendor. I sometimes struggle pulling the needle through the fabric. I also changed to a number 7 needle.That being said the tutorials are really good. I am re-learning all the stitches learnt in school eons ago. This is a good starting point for those new to embroidery and those who are wanting to review.

This was the most complete and comprehensive kit I have ever ordered. It was exactly as described and included instructions, thread, needles and printed fabric. This is a quality kit and highly recommended.

Very good practice set to determine which stitch you like to use for lettering. I finished #1 in about 3 days, but I took time to rip out the mistakes, and re-do what I wasn't satisfied with. Working on #2 now, and am looking forward to #3. I'll be happy to learn how to do a border.

This kit comes with everything you need to learn embroidery. The instruction videos are really helpful and easy to follow.

As a complete beginner they leave out a lot of details like how long of a thread to start with or clearer instructions on tying the knots. The patterns seem to be decent to teach you the different stitches but the fabric leaves something to be deisired since it seems to be completely coated in ink or something that makes it harder to get exactly where you want to push the needle through
