I am a follower of non-traditional beauty regimes, and recently read about hamman. I ordered this message glove after some research and watching several YouTube videos. The first time I used this, I was kind of like, “what is the big deal?” But the second time I used this message glove, I was a little less timid and came out of the shower with my skin glowing. I applied moisturizer while my skin was still damp and couldn’t believe how clean and soft my skin felt even days later.

This Sultana Moroccan Bath mitt does a pretty decent job of exfoliating. When I first opened the package I was a bit disappointed though. First I found it odd that they put trash inside the mitt to keep its shape. It was literally a ripped piece off a vitamin advertisement written in French (see pic). Recycling I guess? No biggie, just odd. Then I noticed that it was already coming apart at one of the seams. I wasn't happy about this. I have a sewing kit so I took a few minutes to repair it but this is probably a sign of things to come as far as durability or at the very least a quality control issue. I was also shocked at how thin it was. It's about the thickness of construction paper though obviously stronger material.I only took off one star for these things though, because once I used the product I found it actually does work pretty well. When the mitt is dry it feels much like a fine grit sand paper in fabric form. Considering how thin it is it does a good job of washing and soaping up the body. The exfoliation isn't the strongest I've ever seen but it's pretty good. It isn't going to remove thick dead skin from say your feet but for the body I found it to be pretty much what I needed. Exfoliation is a fine line between being effective and causing damage so it's probably at a good place. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth so I was pleased with that and my initial negative impressions had faded.It is one size fits all/most. I found it to be a pretty good size, slightly big if anything. It has a thick elastic band at the wrist but I'd be careful stretching it too much as that's where mine was initially coming apart. The mitt is very quick drying. Overall I'd recommend this item even though the initial presentation could use some improvement. The product does work as it should and the price seems ok.

I was very skeptical but ended up using it at least once a week since i have bought it. It is very effective!

They are so scratchy and remove all the dry flaky skin on my legs. I use it with my African Black Soap. I don’t use the bar I use the paste. The combination is fantastic. My skin is smooth, flake free and moisturized.
