Initial review Aug2022 -I was ready to retire my old 2015 macbook but took the plunge and decided to revive it. It was the best choice! After installing this and a new SSD it's working great and ready for a few more rounds. I take good care of my tech but I've never had a laptop last this long and still so fit for work.The old battery was swollen and in need of urgent replacement and this one fit perfectly.Taking the old battery out was hard work (YouTube can help with that) but installing this one was a breeze. The instructions were very clear and straightforward.It works perfectly and lasts much longer than the old one. Couldn't be happier!Update Apr2023 - battery worked well but lost most capacity after 6 months.

Very easy to install works great and happy with it so far no issues and great value for money.Only thing is did not come with instructions to install and how to install but because I installed one previous before on a different laptop I knew how to do it but you can easily find a you tube video on how to do it.

Did the Job and good quality

Needed to look at YouTube videos from other products to understand exactly the steps required. Nothing supplied to assist in removing the adhesive pads securing the existing battery to the chassis. A bit tricky without, but not impossible!

UPDATEOrdered this 28th February 2023 it's now 10th October and the battery is completely USELESS. Impossible to get any satisfaction from the company and the warranty is worth diddly squat.After very little use this battery is now as bad as the original old one had become. The original one lasted 11 hours on a charge, for donkey's years, this heap of rubbish barely lasts 3 hours after only a couple of months light use. I wish I had never bought it and will in future pay the extra to get Apple to put a new one in for me. This battery also gets very very hot when charging and the old one never did. I wouldn't trust leaving it to charge if I went out and constantly move it to cooler areas of desk/work top whilst it is charging, due to the excessive heat. DON'T waste your money, buy original as it is well worth it in the long run.2nd UPDATE. This battery is utterly useless. Having had it checked out the maximum it can be charged is 60%, when it drops to 30% the Mac dies without any warning. It lasts barely an hour and a half and drains even when the Mac is completely shut down. It will not start in the morning without being plugged in . DO NOT BUY. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

The battery in my MacBook Air (2017 model) had eventually run its course and was only lasting 15 minutes. I was aghast at the cost of replacement by Apple (and others) but found this and watched a video or two on YouTube to see if it was simple to fit myself - it was. The battery came nicely packaged and even included the right size screwdrivers I needed. Instructions on conditioning the battery were clear - you allow it to get to 10% before charging and repeat that five times (only done that twice so far as the charge lasts so long and I don’t use the laptop that much). On install and first start, the battery was already about 60% charged.Ten minutes is all it took and most of that time was unscrewing / screwing the base and battery itself. Saved a bunch of money so I’m very happy.

My 4 year old Mac was going flat within an hour of use, So I decided to try changing the battery myself, I would recommend you watch a You Tube video first, it could not have been easier, the whole process was completed inside 30minutes, the Mac is now as good as the day I bought it, and would recommend this product to everyone.

Arrived super fast and easy to instal etc .....my laptop is now working as it should!
