UPDATE!!!! The company actually got in contact with me and replaced my case wich works perfectly now no more screen issues!! Yay! I would definitely recommend the case and also The way The company handled it was awesome! I will definitely purchase more from this company excellent customer service!!! The case is nice it's sleek and pretty well made but there is only one problem and it's major the magnet on case interferes with screen and causes dead spots when u use spen. I tested drawing with spen while in case and it gave me a dead screen right by magnet once I took the phone out the case the screen goes back to working properly so the magnet might be just a little too strong and it seems like case has a magnet on the back which is weird. disappointed because I really liked the case

This is a very functional, nice looking, appears to be well made case... but it has a major flaw that I didn't anticipate. If you are an avid user of the S-Pen (the reason most people buy the Note), you will experience what I can only call "dead spots" on the screen. Now, this doesn't have any effect on using your finger, only the S-Pen.After doing some research, I figured out that it's due to the magnet interfering with the screen. I tried laying the phone flat with the magnet to the side, and the problem persisted. I went ahead and removed the phone from the case, and the problem went away. Again, very functional as a wallet, very good looking case, but it basically make the Note a slightly larger S8... and that's not what I want in a phone.I will likely be returning the case, which is unfortunate.

UPDATE (9/24)The company contacted me to explain that the manufacturer added an extra magnet which caused the SPEN dead spot. I received a replacement in the mail and I've got to say I'm very impressed. The SPEN works just as it should and I love that the part hat holds the phone is so soft. I hate having a rigid holder because they almost always scratch the device. This case is excellent and I prefer it to the Spigen wallet case.Just like everyone else is saying it causes S-Pen functionality to decrease where the magnet is located. This damage can range from temporary to semi permanent (for me it lasted over a day even without the case). The cut outs for the cards are also not the best. It just looks like they were added at the last second.

I've had this case for a while now. I use the s-pen primarily for selecting clips from my phone screen and had tons of problems with it. I didn't realize until taking notes that the issue was a dead zone on the right hand side of the screen. I took my phone in and got a replacement which appeared to work fine, until I put it back in the case. Needless to say the issue was back and the store rep and I then realized the dead zone was from the magnet in this case. At the time I purchased the case I was unaware of the issue but now that I've read more I would like to return or exchange it as others have mentioned. I do like the case even though it's not as nice as the one I had for my note 5.

Beware. 2 magnets in case...one on clasp and another on the back of case. The magnet on the back of the case causes the SPEN not to work in a quarter sized area.

See Pictures, Don't buy it for Galaxy Note 8, the magnet that is located between the covers makes a dead spot on your phone. I want my money back. :)

I did not read all the reviews prior to ordering this and was unaware that the magnetic closure could diminish the use of the stylus with a Note 8. With the cost of the Note 8 phone, I'm not going to risk using this wallet case and am returning. This product needs to be revisited with a different type of closure if it's going to negatively impact the use of the cell phone in its current state in my opinion.

There is a magnet in the case that doesn't allow you to use the s pen in certain areas when in the case

Was not able to close when I had 3 cards in it. Disappointing.
