I love this saw
I got this saw at an amazing deal. It was way cheaper than what it was going for in the big box department stores. This saw is a beast. It gives you so many more possibilities and it’s big!!!Very easy to handle and it cut like butter!!!If you need a big saw to open up the door to cutting bigger and better pieces of wood this saw is the one you need.Very liable and it has stood the rest of time.

Great saw and a pleasure to use.
An excellently balanced saw. We use the 7 1/4” cordless 36v and the 16 5/16” beam saw often and decided to add this one to the lineup too. It’s a favorite in our timber frame and furniture workshop already. It’s much nicer to operate then the makita larger beam saw. Doesn’t feel under powered. Stable. Easy to make accurate cuts with. Reasonable size and weight. Nice features such as oversized blade guide handle which makes it super easy to raise it out of your way during the cut. Angle adjustment feels solid. Good ergonomics. Very happy with it.

Great saw for big cuts
I do custom woodworking and picked this up for some live edge mantles we were making onsite. The pieces were about 15’ long and about 4” thick and too much to load up and take back and forth from the shop. We were able to straight line cut the back edge on site which paid itself off on the first cut. We did 3 of these mantles and the time it saved us was worth every penny. Used it on Oak, walnut and even some ipe. Even the long cut on the Ipe was beautiful and it’s extremely hard on saws. No problem with this. It’s definitely a specific use tool. Too much for day to day use. It’s heavy but fits the hand well. Easy to control.

Great build quality
This was a very well built saw, but it struggled with ripping 3" oak slabs. I purchased it to cut a straight edge down the center of live edge slabs and the natural binding of the wood was a little too much for this saw. As far as use in general carpentry and cross cutting it would be a perfect "large" saw. It just didn't work for my needs so I returned it. I gave it 5 stars because I expected it to do a job too big for it so I can't fault the saw itself. The saw itself is proffesional quality

Solid and Powerful
I was torn between a BigFoot conversion for my old SkilSaw, but I decided to go for the multiple saws option. Being only a little more than the cost of a BigFoot, I was concerned it may feel "cheap", but it has the heft and solid feeling such that I'm not concerned. It had plenty of power to rip cut 6x's and scare the hell out of me when it bound. I like the grinder handle for the foregrip and the oversized guard lever is convenient too. Only bad thing I have to say is about the trigger unlock; it's recessed so you need to twist your hand to depress it, putting your hand in kind of an awkward position to control the saw. That and the 0° wasn't perfect (as other reviews have noted). Just need to square it up beforehand.I wish I had the option to buy a case for it since I won't use it very often (that's the only time I'll say that as I usually throw them away).

A table saw you can carry around
I bought a bowling alley floor to turn into a work bench. At 10' x 42" it weighed more than three of us could carry. I decided to rip it into thirds, plane it and reassemble it on the benchwork. At 3 1/2" thick this was the only way to do that easily. I was very impressed at how a saw that is the same diameter as my StopSaw was able to cut through this big floor like butter AND remain well in my control. I used a 40T blade and it made a very clean cut. I will run it back through the real table saw with a multi-material blade (nails nails nails!) at some point to clean up the cut, but that is largely a function of my unwise decision to try and cut at the seams. Having not ripped a bowling alley floor before, I didn't realize why that was a bad plan. I would say this saw is capable of cutting about anything you throw at it.

Heavy but balanced, powerful, accurate.
The media could not be loaded. I needed something bigger than my 7 1/4" saw for cutting beams. This saw is heavy, but well balanced. With a sharp blade, it has plenty of power to cut through thicker softwood and hardwood stock. I cut a large amount of Pine, Fir, Elm and Oak reclaimed barn beams. It does a great job. It has increased my efficiency and saved me lots of time making fewer cuts than I had to before.

Great saw
The saw! cuts thru timber almost 4 inches thick. Much easier to handle than my larger saw. Very smooth running
