Wild About You is the second book in Rebecca Jenshank’s Wildcat series. An endearing second chance, sports romance story about Tyler Sharp and Piper Vaughn. Tyler is the youngest player in The Wildcats NHL team and in the previous book Wildcat, there was lots of mystery surrounding his last relationship and his family. They dated when they were eighteen but he left her broken hearted, now unexpectedly he has a chance to try again.Tyler had a hard life growing up and finally felt he had achieved something playing in the NHL. He had always wanted to make something of himself and needs to focus on his game. When his teenage sister Everly suddenly turns up after being suspended from school again it throws his routine into chaos. He has no idea of how to be a parent and hasn’t the time to look after her. She has had enough of living with her unreliable mother and begs to stay with Tyler. She is sullen and withdrawn but he is determined to do his best for her. When the troubled girl causes problems at her new school, Tyler is shocked to find out that the student teacher helping her is his ex-girlfriend Piper.Piper has always wanted to be a teacher and make a difference. She feels sorry for Everly and wants to help her but is caught off guard when her guardian turns up. Nothing prepared her for seeing Tyler again and all her feelings for him just come flooding back. He was her high school boyfriend, the only man she’s ever loved and it took her ages to get over him.He had never forgotten her and knew she was the one who got away. He thinks she hates him after the way they broke up four years ago. The reasons seemed right to him at the time but he still struggles with the guilt. It also affects him as they get to know each other again and leaves him wondering if he could be the boyfriend she deserves this time. He doesn’t want to disappoint her again or stop her reaching her goals. She is desperate to protect herself after all that has happened in her life since he left so finds it hard to let him back in. Their reunion is an emotional and slow process but helped by his friends and sister because he is very good at sacrificing what he wants for others.It was lovely seeing Tyler and Everly repair their relationship and grow together. Ash, Leo, Declan and Jack are great teammates to Tyler and have become the family he has always wanted. They look out for each other, have a strong camaraderie and hilarious banter. I loved how they all help Tyler out with Evelyn and even help with her homework. She has gained four new big brothers. Declan is outstanding in his help and he’s such a softie with her, they get on so well that I was left wondering if there might be something between the two. Lovely epilogue to finish this couple’s story and I look forward to the next book.

Joe as always delivered a flawless performance as the hockey rookie pulled in all directions who just wants to do right by everyone. Emma’s portrayal of sweet, sassy, and loving Piper is beautiful. I loved seeing Emma take her from hurt and cautious to open, loving and willing to take a chance.I loved this audiobook; it was the perfect addition to what is shaping up to be a phenomenal sports romance series. I can’t wait to get to know more of the Wildcats and see them get the happily ever afters they deserve!

He worked hard and looked after Everly as best he could, as well as treat Piper like a queen. I thought it was adorable how much he enjoyed spoiling them both, but I loved that Piper brought him so much peace and happiness. The two of them were sweet, super sexy and just made for each other.
