Perfect for "Heavy Chewers," lasts long, and has yet to come apart or tear up
I have several dogs, and they are what would be considered as "Heavy Chewers." They are truly awesome pets, and I consider them like my children.I started looking for toys that I wouldn't worry about if I didn't have line of sight for every minute. All dog toys, regardless of their size, type, weight, or if they're steel versus plastic material have a warning on the bottom of very label/package that states that the animal should never be left alone with the toy. With that said, I do not leave the toys unattended, even though this toy has paid it's weight in how well it has stood up to the constant chewing my dogs give it everytime I place it in their crates to prevent fights, or issues on the pack order. As far as the actual toy, it looks, feels, and even smells like a tire, but without any problems with the dogs accepting it to play with. The toy bounces like a ball, and the overall weight is heavy enough to ensure durability. Just like a tire, the toy is made of rubber, not plastic material.I have found that smearing small amounts of peanut butter in to the crevices of the tire rather than brand specific treats is just as effective, I will also freeze the peanut butter into the tire, and this also increases the length of time it takes for the dogs to consume.I ended up buying three more toys, mostly so all my dogs have one, and that I also have one as a spare.I would recommend this to any owner of a "Heavy Chewer" as the product is well made, and yet to have any defect or piece removed by any of my dogs, and they do chew on these toys extensively.

Actually as tough as advertised
This is THE BEST toy we've bought our VERY destructive dog. She destroys every toy in hours - or most often just minutes. Stuffed toys - minutes. Squeakers - gone in no time. 99% of rubber toys - yeah, she finds an edge and eventually picks off pieces and eats them. But this KONG tire... it has lasted for weeks with hardly a mark. This has been the most durable toy we've ever bought.

Great dog toy
My dog loves this. Carries it around a lot and it definitely stands up to her aggressive chewing

Durable for aggressive chewers!!!
Out of the five kong toys I've given my two 8 lb. Yorkies, this is the only one they haven't been able to destroy! They like this toy so much that we bought a second one. It's great for both both playing fetch and tug-of-war! Highly recommend this if your tiny pup is ann aggressive chewer like our two!!!

SAVE YOUR MONEY, THESE ARE UTTER GARBAGE UNLESS YOUR DOG HAS NO TEETH (MAYBE)!!
For all those purchasers who are posting videos of these toys while talking about how great they are and how long they have lasted at your house, would you mind disclosing the breed and age of your dog(s) that play with them? I only ask because I am finding these "positive" reviews REALLY hard to believe now that I have firsthand knowledge that, as a chew toy, this thing completely sucks. Based upon personal experience and the physical and photographic evidence, your dog might be an OBSESSIVE chewer, but they are most assuredly NOT a "power" chewer. If they were, you would almost certainly be posting reviews saying that this toy is utter crap, just like I'm having to do now. After many years of experience using Kong brand toys, the idea that this toy is the "most durable" Kong toy is just ridiculous, and blatant false advertising in my opinion. It took three of my dogs (a 5 year-old Boxer/Pit Bull mix (2nd pic) I'm fostering and two one year old border collie puppies) all of five minutes to completely shred FOUR of these toys straight out of the delivery box. I was the proud owner of four of these things for all of five frickin' minutes out of the box. Meanwhile, it previously took the Boxer/Pit almost two years to destroy two medium-sized Kong "snowman" shaped toys, and even then he wasn't able to shred them anywhere near to this degree. And believe me, he actually *IS* a true "power" chewer, as after raising and training dogs for over 50 years, I have never seen a dog completely break that type of Kong chew toy.As an aside, Kong (the company) appears to take crappy product claims only by means of printed hard copy sent via the U.S mail, so no immediate relief for your wasted expenditure on their products will soon be forthcoming. How many modern companies do you know of that don't allow some sort of online contact for product claims, even if it's just an email address? So I might very well have to reconsider whose products I am willing to spend my all-too hard earned money on.That said, those three dogs are all now outside throwing up chunks of these crappy toys that they swallowed while tearing them to pieces, and which I now find myself hoping really are non-toxic!! The regular "snowman" shaped Kong toys are MUCH more durable than these things are. Had I known that beforehand, I would have spent my money accordingly. The picture I posted is the last remaining toy out of the four I ordered, and I most certainly want my money back (wish me luck)!! This toy is a complete WASTE of your money for any dog that is bigger than an aged chihuahua or that actually has teeth, so I suggest that you DO NOT purchase.

Smaller than expected
I purchased one years ago for a previous dog and I wanted to get another for my new dog. This is not the same Kong wheel style. It is smaller and not as sturdy. The diameters are different sizes on back and front. My dog is an aggressive chewer so we will see how long it lasts; however, he doesn't seem too interested in this Kong style. I'll rate it a 4 and my dog rates it a 3. 🤭

He Loves it!!!
I have a mini golden doodle puppy, and I've bought him several bones and toys, but he always manages to break them. I needed a toy that would be fun, durable, and long-lasting. After a week of use, this toy has proven to be very sturdy. I don’t see any bite marks on it, even though he has been chewing on it a lot. The toy is squishy, which is great for his teeth since it’s not as hard as others I've tried. It really feels like a tire, and he loves playing catch with it! It does bounce when throwing it. Noise level 0 😊 It weighs pretty light, and is safe for my puppy

Indestructible!/ My dog loves it!
This is the only toy that my dog has not been able to destroy. Now we have three of them because he loves them so much. He is a standard Aussiedoodle.
