I own one of these books in every subject. My 6th grade son is homeschooled. While he takes his own notes, I have found not only this book, but all the other subjects, to be useful to help him not only study for any testing, but to help him review topics he may need reinforcement in. I feel this series of books is extremely helpful for homeschooled and public schooled kids alike.

I got this as a present for my middle school age granddaughter when she was in elementary school. I am an adjunct history professor at a local community college, and she loves to quiz me on US history, and I absolutely love that. She has read it from cover to cover multiple times, and her 101 average in middle school history is proof enough that this book was worth the price.I would recommend to anyone who wants a better understanding of our nation's history, buy a copy and read it. Don't be put off by the 'middle school' reference. You will learn the history of this nation, and you might even be inspired to do a deeper dive on topics that you find interesting.

As a parent I live this. With the shift in school from textbooks to online resources, it can be hard to know what the kids are learning in school now (may vary by region).This is perfect because I can ask them to show me what topic they’re on and we can read through this and study a little bit more in an easy way.Also very helpful with my ADHD child because it’s easier to consume the information based on the format.

I love these books!! They're not just for school aged kids, but for adults as well to freshen up on things we once learnd as well as new things.

I really like this brand of books for homeschool. I’m not thrilled with all of the evolution theory in the US History & World History books. My kids skipped these entire sections at the beginning of the book.
