The powder works as advertised and turns liquid into a gel, making transport easier. It does eliminate some smell, but not all of it. The plastic pouch it comes in is actually handy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These work great! Yes, probably more expensive than kitty litter but not by much anymore and way more portable in terms of packing them with camping gear. I am impressed by how much they absorb...or whatever the word is....just know they do what they do to solve the immediate problem. Highly recommend.

It’s amazing how this works no odors and absorbs everything real quick I use this powder every time that I go camping with my wife and daughter they love it also me so I recommend it

I have a portable toilet for travel so I thought I would try these. They do solidify liquid, up to 2 #1s, any more contributions and you just get gel clumps floating around which defeats using this. I haven't tried it for #2. Honestly these are not necessary. You use bags with the toilet, tie it up and dispose of it. If you don't overfill the bag or leave it over a day so that the bags start to leak as they are biodegradable this product is an unnecessary expense. But if you prefer to turn your business into gel these are a good product. Just tear the top off, pour into toilet before you go, do your business, carry on. This does create that porta john smell when mixed with urine so it doesn't eliminate or cover up what's going on lol
