Audioflood Waterproof Apple iPod Shuffle Space Gray Latest Gen

I am fairly active in my training. I run up to 55/60 miles a week, depending on where I am in my training. I am prone to injuries, so some of this training is in the form of pool running. Running in the pool is extremely boring, as you do it in a very small confined area. That's where this iPod comes in. I was given this as a gift along with a pair of Swimbuds headphones. The Swimbuds have a very short cord, do I can wear them and simply let the iPod dangle in front of me in the water. It works great and I've had no problems. The controls are stiff and somewhat less responsive than the standard shuffle, but I guess that's the price for waterproofing. No big deal. Having music makes the pool run so much better.I also do a lot of running in hot weather, with a lot of sweat. I've gone through several shuffles this way, but I'm hoping this will solve that problem. I swap the Swimbuds for a regular set of headphones and clip the shuffle to the pocket on my shorts.Finally, I also swim, usually 1-2 miles at a time. I can clip this shuffle to my goggles, and with the Swimbuds it works great. I do have to use a swimcap to keep the earbuds in place.In short, this product works as advertised. I highly recommend it.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present. He has commented repeatedly that he is very happy with it.

I use this to swim laps in the pool. It works well under water. Sometimes the headphones crap out first.

I am using the waterproof shuffle, and must say, so far, so good. Hope this continues, for the amount paid....and I bough 2, one in use and one in stock.I made a research with the Apple Store and I was told that they don't have waterproof ipod shuffles.I am confused, what did I buy? If it does not work well I don't have the Apple guarantee.Could you explain?Yhank you

I am absolutely in love with this little device! It has completely changed my swim workouts. If you're constantly in the water, or even just a couple of times a week, this iPod is well worth the cost. I've had it about 4 months, and have had 0 complications/issues...I love it more every time I use it! The pool area of my gym is the only place in the gym without music, and I while I love being in the water, I was becoming progressively bored just doing laps. Since I purchased this iPod I can't wait to get my swim on. There's something about listening to music underwater that is almost magical...its one of those things like as a kid I thought would always be cool, but never imagined it would ever happen....gotta love technology :).Technical:It's a piece of cake to use. You use it just like any other iPod. It comes with the USB connector which you just plug into your computer and it syncs with iTunes. It holds 1GB of music. I think I have almost 500 songs on mine. The battery charge lasts forever. I swim for an hour, sometimes two, at least three to four times a week and I can go a month without charging it.Design:It's a small and sleek iPod shuffle. Easy to clip on goggles or on the strap of your swimsuit and will stay securely in place throughout your swim. It comes in multiple colors, mine is black, which I liked because it matches the rest of my swim gear.I think that covers it. If you're thinking about getting this little baby, stop thinking, and just do it!! You won't regret it!

PLEASE NOTE: currently as of 24 Aug 2017 there is a $5 difference between just getting the waterproofed Ipod Shuffle for $174 and getting a sweet package of goodies from Audioflood for $179, which includes short cord waterproof earbuds, swim cap and carry sack.So many positive things to say about this product.-My (who has worked at the International Court at The Hague) Lawyer Cousin thinks my use of the true short cord and waterproofed AUDIOFLOOD attached to a simple metal spring barrette is pure genius.-Raised my status as a helpful person in the pool. You know us swimmers we do not like to be disturbed or disturb anyone in their pursuit of beating our clock. I have had people waiting patiently for me to finish my set to thank me for my recommendation of the AUDIOFLOOD.-The customer service at AUDIOFLOOD is stellar. Yes the product is very good however as with any good idea/product improvements can made and the customer service people at AUDIOFLOOD are willing to listen and help with my concerns.

I love having music during my lap swims. I have had no problems at all. Music sounds great and it helps to keep me motivated in the pool and blocks out the kids during open swim. The lifeguards were amazed by it too! I have also used it in the lake. I LOVE THEM!

My wife wanted to listen to music while swimming, and I bought this for her as a gift. She is very happy with it. Like all Apple products, it is easy to use. It clips on very easy to her swimsuit. Since I am the one who manages the music on it for her, I like that I can use iTunes (which we already use), instead of using another method had we bought a non-Apple product. And it is waterproof! (Thanks, AudioFlood!) She has been using it for over 2 months and no problems.
