All I can say is it works as intended, no problems so far. It’s great to not have to open up the effect pedal to change out the battery.

When you want to go retro and throw some battery powered pedals down on the floor and rock out (for those non-Boss pedals that have ignorant battery locations). You know what I'm talking about.That's when this product is a life-saver to use.

I have an old 1986 Alvarez electric acoustic guitar. It has no tuner built-in, and the battery is placed under the neck, under the strings. What a pain to change the battery. I use this guitar when playing outdoor gigs instead of my Martin .... So, I found this. I placed the battery pouch with the velcro inside the guitar hole, but, I put it just inside to where I could just put my fingers inside to pull it out. Now I have a backup guitar that's easy to change the battery in.As a bonus, I discovered that a 9v battery will power my line6 wireless guitar cable! Now I can do a complete battery-powered gig if I'm outdoors with no power. I will be buying a few more of these for that purpose.

Perfect option for when you don't have a power supply available or for pedals that don't have a battery option.
