Very sturdy packaging for long lasting storage and functions great for stacking. Flavor is good and fun for testing while camping. Lots of different ingredients for any meal. Texture is good.

I bought this in case of emergency because it's nice to know we'll be we'll fed under any circumstances. I did want to be prepared if the food wasn't good though, so I decided to make one of the menu options. I made the Spanish rice and it's delicious! It couldn't be easier to make, you literally just add water and cook for 20 minutes. It's flavorful, not too salty, and it's very filling. The only thing I would change is that the airtight packets come in 8 Serving sizes, so you have to make 8 servings at once. That's a lot, and makes it so you pretty much have to eat the rice consecutive days in a row, rather than being able to have it once a week over the 30 days. But, nonetheless, this is an awesome kit, easy to store, great price, and easy to take with you if you're camping or changing locations. I think you could definitely use this instead of buying groceries for a month if you just added some fruits and vegetables to it. Very coat effective.

Always good to be prepared. Buy when on sale. A good investment for you.

If you are looking for a michelin star meal you will be dissapointed!! I use these for camping and they are exactly what you would expect from freeze dried food. It tastes pretty good if you follow the instructions. I have had many of these over the years and they work well. Great long term storage food and for those adventurous nomads, you can't go wrong.
