Worked for about a year
I used this infrequently for about a year. Worked well in that time. After about a year the rod detached from the rest of the thermometer, revealing the thermocouple. I can still sort of use it, but not without effort.

This thermometer works!
This one works, This is the fourth digital thermometer that I have tried since my old one died a year ago and it is the only one that works as I expect (or in some cases at all). This one is fast, easy to read. It comes in a nice box that makes it easy to store and consequently find in a kitchen drawer. I depend a thermometer for my cooking and baking and use pretty much daily. It appears to be holding up,well. I recommend this product.

Easy and convenient
We use this all the time. It is quick to show the temp and folds up nicely. It has a magnet so we stick it on our range hood for easy access.

First one dead, second one works great.
Ordered one of these and thermometer was dead on arrival. Changed out the battery and the backlight worked, but rest of the unit was unresponsive. I meant to return it but got really busy and never got around to it, but the seller saw that I left a 1-star review initially and offered to send a new one out to replace it - really impressed by that and the new one works great so far, so I bumped it up to 4-stars.

Great thermometer
Takes the temperature of my meat very quickly and I believe accurately. So far this is been a very good meat thermometer for the price I paid. Hopefully it will last a lot longer than my last one .
