Appears Strong but how do you really judge
Feels strong, therefore would act as a deterrent. Hard to judge effectiveness until someone tries to steal my bike. But seems a good compromise between cost, weight and strength. Security cable along is stronger than what I had been using :-)My orange end caps was broken, but not fair to mark product down because of that imo

Reliable and sturdy
All the pieces were included the material is pretty sturdy, installation was straightforward and the size is appropriate for most bike racks. I have had no issues with the lock or bike theft.
