I have no words for this it is absolutely beautiful .I want to give a couple of distinguished people in my life this gift , when I received this I was in awe. I was going to purchase the most expensive one until I saw this one . I couldn't have asked for anything better if you want to give a beautiful gift of an old fashioned pen, please choose this one . It comes in a bamboo lovely box and the bamboo on this pen is well made. You couldn't have asked for a better gift for someone. Not too expensive, we have to watch our money, but we want to give someone something special and nice this is the PEN for thst. I love it!! This it is quite distinguished. Yes you can purchase the most expensive one but this one is the bang for the buck.Just make sure you get your ink fillers.

I have not as yet received my ink bottles but being the nib is manufactured in Germany, I probably won’t have any issues. If there are, I will update my review at a later date. Out of the shipping box and plastic wrap is a beautiful bamboo pen case; it’s well crafted and fitted. It will be a nice addition to my desk and a good pen protector/holder. The pen shell is of the same quality, beauty, and craftsmanship. The cap snaps on with authority. The pen feels good in hand, just a bit light in weight. All in all, this pen/case combo is a terrific purchase.

REVIEW ON PEN ITSELF TO FOLLOW:Amazon noted this as delivered and I didn't believe them since the package was not where all mail goes and a package I had received was marked not delivered. I called Amazon and they were very nice and helpful and because of the vociferous notes they had aboit the paclage and its delivery, I agreed to check again. After questioning various family members I found the package. Many thanks to Amazon.THE PEN:You get what you pay for. I wanted an inexpensive pen that wrote well, but was more ecologically friendly than disposable pens. This meets this requirements absolutely. It writes VERY nicely. The "feel" of the pen is average at best. I have had both metallic and rosewood pens in the best that were smoother and more nicely weighted. They were, of course, more expensive. That being said I'm happy to give this pen 4 stars for meeting my needs and how it writes, which is why I purchased it after all.

Amazing pen, it has weight to it, making it easier to write cursive. Beautiful and seamless finish! Don’t forget to buy cartridges! The converter works great! The wooden case is solid and adds elegance to your desk :)

I love writing with this pen, but it has some issues. I am an architecture major and it works perfectly for me in every class. The only things I don't like are that the ink comes out a little too much (but that can be fixed if you hold the pen differently). Another thing to note is that you shouldn't use the pilot ink. You should only use the explormate ink. Other than the issue with the pilot ink not working well, this pen is wonderful. I love it and I use for for class every day. It's perfect for writing and drawing. It feels nice to hold and it looks nice too.

This is a very good fountain pen. Indeed, for a pen so inexpensive, I was surprised by the quality. It writes very well and is easy to fill with ink from a bottle. The mechanism for filling it is of plastic and seems a little delicate, but with care it should give no problems. It came with a well made bamboo box that would look good on a desk and will keep the pen readily available (I'm always misplacing my pens).

I had it about 6 months and the nib broke. I searched the website for a replacement but none was available. I went to the pen store where I was informed that I bought a piece of junk and I could not replace the nib. I am dissatisfied with this product and would never buy again. I bought a LAMY and I have not regretted it since. The pen looks nice but it did not write no where near as nice as my LAMY does, it does not hold nearly enough ink for constant use I found myself constantly having to fill the piston. If you are looking for something pretty to sit on the desk it works but if you intend to use it like a pen is meant to be this is not the one to buy. The cap does not stay on, which lead to the breaking of the nib, when you take the cap off it does not go onto the top of the pen so you can store the cap while writing. Walmart disposable pens are better.

I have a Gold Parker 75 from 1960s inherited from My Dad from his retirement and I finally restarted it to work however I noticed it maybe damaged on daily use. So I re-retired it and bought this. This is very much lighter, has better flow of ink. Also compare to parker it has two functional advantages 1- It doesn't dry after one day on non use and doesn't need water to restart flow. 2-Its tank is a very simple screw type not like Parker which has a plastic squeezable tank and you have no idea how much is left or got in it. With this whenever it starts to dry, you simply open the back look at the tank and slightly twist it to left to bring the ink down. Done. I give it a definite 5/5.
