To start off I've used many brands of trail cameras over the years and this one seems to be the most consistent of all of them. I've purchased high end and low end cams and more times than not the high end cams always disappoint. This camera came in at a great price and the quality is great as well. I used it over this past season and had zero issues. On other cams I own I usually have to change the batteries at least once during the season but not this one...it lasted for the entire season. It has plenty of settings for image quality, video length, how many shots and duration between. I especially like the password protection and its not just numbers but letters as well. Not sure how hard this would be to overcome but at least if someone were to trespass and steal it they would have a hard time using it. The screen is small to use as viewing pics but that is to be expected as its not a phone, tablet, or pc screen but does the job to scan through and catch the basics and if you want to see more just use a card reader. ALL cameras will be hit and miss sometimes as far as taking pics and video. The Hawkray seemed to have less false alarms from wind and tree motion and only a few deer slipped past that I caught the tail end of. I didn't really have a chance to check the sound quality other than when I first got it and set it up close to the chicken pen to catch an egg thief in action to see what I was dealing with and the sound was acceptable. Would I recommend this camera? Definitely.

We have wanted a trail camera for the longest time! We've been feeding the neighborhood animals for the last year and had the idea of filming them and see who is eating what. We put out deer food, bird food and squirrel food so the squirrels don't eat the bird food. This camera is fantastic! I am a hardcore review reader before I buy anything, and I took a chance on this one and I'm glad I did. It has night vision which is amazing for catching deer, and it's in 2k which is great for the birds. Our ring cameras are only 720p so this is a big upgrade in quality. We did not want to get another ring camera because we didn't want to have the camera messed with our stolen by anyone since it's located outside our gate. I want to get another camera for right in front of a bird feeder that is a favorite for a big family of cardinals. There's also a camera mount with screws and anchors, and a strap (like a bookbag strap with the buckle) that can attach to the camera and then be looped around a tree or a pole or anything that you can get the strap around and secured. The motion detection works great and you can view your pictures or videos on the device itself. It comes with a 32 gig micro USB card and that gets me about a day and a half in the front yard due to it being a high traffic area with cars and pedestrians so I traded it out for a 128 gig that I had laying around just so I didn't have to check it everyday. I put the one that came with the camera in my husband's phone. The pictures and videos are so clear, I'm very very impressed in the quality. It's been raining extremely hard here for a week and the camera case has kept it dry eventhough the camera has been attached to a pole with no cover. Now, if I could only get some pictures and videos of those sneaky deer!

Pro: This camera was great for deer season. Very easy to use. Good clear pictures and the built in screen makes it easy to check quickly. Con: had an issue after about 2 months where it won't let me pull any more pictures saying the files are corrupted. Not sure yet if it's the camera or the card I used, so I won't put it completely at fault yet. Also not sure if it was how I had it located, but the night vision didn't seem to have very much range and made it hard to see more than about 10 yards. Over-all, I would definitely buy this one again. Well worth the price.

Never got to use this camera. The batteries leaked acid inside camera and now does not work. Return policy expired before got to use. This camera. Update Manufacture contacted me and send out replacement unit.

Total garbage! Cards look the part but won’t record anything. Computer won’t recognize them (cards). Put good cards in, left out 2 days. They didn’t take single photo both of them

This camera has surprisingly great clarity and is so easy to set up and install. It is battery operated so I’m not sure how often they will need replacing but all in all quite satisfied with the ease of use and the quality footage.

Purchased to use as a surveillance camera outside the house. It helps to see if anyone comes in the property at night. Also living in the country it’s nice to see what animals are walking around during the day and night. I’m not a hunter, so this camera can be used for other purposes. Easy to set up, and view afterwards.
