Washburn Rover Steel String Travel Acoustic Guitar (Black)FREE SNARK TUNER

I've had it for about 6 months now and love it. Sound was better than expected out of the thing. I agree that the saddle is a bit high and just needs to be sanded down a bit. Also, some adjustments to the truss rod should be done (good guides for both of these can be found on youtube). This guy has already seen some miles and I'm looking forward to taking it backpacking. The only thing I had trouble with was the strap, not to sure if I was doing something wrong but I struggled to get the strap connected to the knob at the base of the guitar. I actually had to extend the cut on the strap to get it to fit and it's still a pain to attach.All in all great buy and would recommend.

I own other Washburn guitars & when my wife showed an interest in learning - I gave her a full sized Washburn. She was learning the chords well but having difficulty holding a full dreadnaught bodied acoustic comfortably. I looked at many travel acoustics & whittled it down to this & the Martin. This little baby is more comfortable than the Martin (which has angular body angles). I was surprised by this guitar. Well built, basic finish - but no serious flaws - smooth. It has actually held tune - I haven't even swapped out the factory strings. It's fun even for me just to have a small form guitar around that's easy to practice with when you're out & about. However, it has become one of my gals prize possessions & I can't always get at it. It also came with a really nice quality case which rigs as a backpack or travel pack. The addition of a free Snark tuner was nice also. What a great value!
