Balaclava Face Mask Adjustable Windproof UV Protection Hood

This is by far my favorite ! Windy cold days dont stand a chance with this cover. Well made, great tight stitching. Ive been using this for about a year now and its held up and still works like brand new!

Wanted a second balaclava in a fun color to wear fat biking in winter. I wear it under my snowboard helmet & goggles. If it is below zero, I pull it up over my mouth and nose. It does a great job keeping my neck warm. this 'clava is a bit smaller than the one that I bought several years ago, but I make it work. the main thing that has to move while I am wearing it is the mouth cover ("adjustable" part). IF my lips &/or nose start to feel frosty, I can easily pull the 'clava up over my mouth and nose. Later, I can easily pull it or flip it back down. I also wear it under a hooded coat or under/over a winter hat when I'm walking and snowshoeing. It is a great layering piece!I hand or machine wash/dry it after every use, and it is holding up well.I have also worn a balaclava while doing yard work to protect my neck and ears from poison ivy and garlic mustard.

I work in the sun and I love this covering. I wear it under my nose so I don’t feel restricted breathing.

I bought this for summer days on the water fishing, mainly as extra sun protection that I thought might be better than those sleeves that have 62 different configurations. It looked like a nearly open weave, and loosely fitting in the pictures, but that's not really the case. The material is pretty thick with the outside showing said open weave, but the inside is almost like a very thin fleece. Not fleece-thick, but not as light as I'd expected, so I suspect it won't be as breathable as I'd wanted - even a little warm in the hot sun? Hmmm...maybe if I keep it wet.It's also WAY too tight, even for my medium-sized head. Fits great for winter I guess, but for summer I want something way looser - I need airflow in the hot sun.Well built otherwise with decent design and stitching. Recommended only if you like what you've read here. Me? I'm still looking for the right item.
