At that time I really didn’t know anything about how Qigong strengthens your physiology and psychology and infuses your body, mind, and spirit with increased function.This new DVD Healer Within Medical Qigong will help you release your body’s innate power for healthy longevity. The practices can be adapted if you are injured or recovering from illness. I had a chance to test this when I was healing from a dog attack on my lower leg and couldn’t stand.The relaxation response generated by these healing practices helped me to recover from my injury faster. And deal with the stress and pain of the injury.Thank you Dr. Jahnke for sharing these profound practices in your video.

Great form of exercise for those that can’t
Great form of exercise for those that can’t. You don’t need a lot of room because you barely move around, you don’t need to be able to exercise because you were moving energy from within. I felt the video was well produced and I enjoyed the movements. I did feel the price was double of what it probably should be. But because I liked the video so much I only took away one star for price.

I Love the work of Roger Jahnke. This video it well done. The movements are effective and easy to follow. Be sure to read his material. If you are into this kind of thing (which you should be if you have healing needs) you will not be able to find a better teacher and leader. I wish you well in your search for health. Make the choice to use this material.

This is a beautifully filmed DVD; it’s clear and concise. Dr. Jahnke makes both Qi Gong theory and its practice accessible for everyone.

Basic Qigong instruction
This DVD is designed for beginners but covers all the essentials. The movements are well demonstrated and simultaneously explained/described. It is easy to follow along. There, however, no specific explanations as to how Qigong has specific medical value. Obviously, for anyone who is sedentary or elderly this is a good entry into being and becoming more physical.

Qigong & breathing techniques have been a staple of Asian cultures for thousands of years and help to connect body and mind with the environment. It is not a cure all but definitely helps facing everyday in our crazy world.Qigong exercises are slow, precise movements that helps us get in touch with our life-force, in a smooth, elegant way. It is practiced daily by millions of people still.Breathing techniques are used with Qigong or by itself. By using correct breathing in a multitude of ways, we can slow down blood pressure (if done regularly), calm anxiety, overcome tiredness and/or pain (as in Lamaze birthing classes).Roger Jahnke explains everything beautifully with grace & knowledge.With current influences you may shy away, thinking it may interfere with your religious beliefs but that’s incorrect. Qigong & breathing techniques align with any religious belief, it just centers your being and connects you to the divine as YOU see it.An effective exercise for all levels and an amazing way to embrace life with controlled breathing. I highly recommend this DVD and other publications by this gifted teacher.

Nice intro to Qi Gong
Standard dvd, run time just under an hour and a half. Gives good introduction to qigong and how it can help you unlock your body’s own healing potential. While it says medical in the title, it’s more about ancient medicine and traditional Chinese medicine than any particularly western medicine concepts. Keep in mind that allopathic (western) medicine is more about treating symptoms than the way medicine is practiced in the rest of the world, where most modalities seek to heal the root cause and not just manage symptoms. I’m thrilled to have found this and will be purchasing the book as well. I have ongoing back and joint pain from car accidents and other trauma in my adolescence, and am relieved to finally find a method for helping release some of that trauma to my body in ways that are actually accessible for me (seated or in a prone position) instead of trying to figure out how to modify other workouts to fit my occasional limitations. Highly recommend.
