Great cap system design. Great choice in sizes, 18, 22, 24 oz works well for us.
Good insulation and the cap system is a superior design, protecting the spout surface from dust and dirt, with positive locking and handle that hinges so you can put a backpack compression strap through it to ensure the bottle does not get lost if it slips out of the backpack pocket. I also like the silicon bumper for the bottom.I got the 18 oz size because it fits in my car cupholder. My previous 24 oz is too large a diameter. The 18 oz size is good for airline travel also

Great for travel & home
Perfect size to trek through airports and carry along on walks while on vacation. No leaks. Kept my water cold and icy. I like that the cap is attached, too. I've continued to use it after returning home from vacation. I have a Yeti Rambler, but this is more convenient in the car because there's no chance it'll leak if I throw it on the passenger seat or accidentally knock it over.

Great water bottle
I like this smaller water bottle version. Easier to carry., fits cup holders better. I can easily clip it to my belt when gardening. Love it

Great water bottle
These are great bottles! A really good, simple design. It has a wide mouth, so it's easy to add ice and to clean. Unlike some bottles I've owned, there are no nooks and crannies for mold to grow in that can't be cleaned: everything is accessible and the silicon gaskets (inside the large lid and inside the twist cap) are easily removable for washing. Also, the top is strong enough that it's very unlikely to break when you drop it - unlike a Thermos water bottle I used to own (and got tired of replacing.)Regarding the reviewer complaining the bottle constantly leaks: Clearly theirs was missing one of the silicon gaskets.Regarding the reviewer complaining of mold: Just take out the silicon gaskets and clean them! They're removable for a reason. It's a water bottle, people. The inside is dark and wet (a.k.a. "mold heaven").To prevent mold: let the top dry overnight. Or, if, like me, you pretty much have it filled constantly, including overnight, at least leave the twist cap off overnight. That lets the lid and gaskets dry out and seems to prevent any mold growth.

Pick your drink and stick to it!
I have the 18oz bottle. It's been quite functional, keeping cold water cold - no leaks. Have not tried hot water. It is a little on the fat side, esp with the base silicone bumper, requiring some effort to fit it into my backpack side bottle pocket. I could remove the bumper but I like the bumper for added stability on a surface. One word of warning: pick your liquid and stick to it. I only use it for water, but my spouse used it one day for hot coffee. After that, no matter how I tried, I could not remove the smell of coffee from the O-rings in the lid. Had to buy a 3rd party set of O-rings which did the trick.

Best water bottle on the market!
I have bought any brands of water bottles (I have a nice collection in my kitchen haha) and I think each water bottle has its pros and cons. This Takeya is pretty much perfect - it's easy to refill and drink out of, VERY easy to clean - there are rubber pieces for both openings that are easily removable so cleaning this properly is a breeze. The handle is very helpful. The rubber base is a nice bonus (also removable). This is highly recommended!

I think this may be the best water bottle on Amazon
I've bought a variety of water bottles on Amazon and this has been the best, bar none. I never imagined I'd be enthusiastic enough about a water bottle to spend time writing a glowing review, but this was a great purchase.I initially cheaped out on those Chinese brands on Amazon with weird names like AUOGYOU or whatever. The base wasn't always stable, it had no carrying handle, wasn't always leak proof, and had sort-of okay insulation. Meh.I've since had a 16 oz EcoVessel, which I liked, a HydroFlask, and one from Built. None of those is as great on all fronts as my 18 oz Takeya. This is super sturdy and stable, never sweats, never leaks, has a handle that is far more convenient that the EcoVessel one and is easier to drink out of (in addition to having an extra 2 oz of space), and is cheaper to boot. I know Hydro Flask is a big name brand, but I compared them side by side and would prefer my Takeya any day - insulation, value, aesthetics, stability, sturdiness, grip, ease of use, size. It's perfect.I know this sounds like a paid ad but, shrug, I love this stupid water bottle and am glad my hours of scouring Amazon paid off.
