These are well made and gripped the oil filters snugly. The adjustable jaws facilitate different diameter filters and the angled handles make it flexible enough to get into tight spaces. I used these for my boat engine and my zero turn oil changes and am very happy with the quality and performance. Great filter wrench for the price.

It survived a max effort squeeze and was able to pull off a very, super, obscenely tight oil filter on my motorcycle.

Bought this before my first DIY oil change on our RAV 4. Turns out that I needed it. The RAV 4 oil filter is accessible, but without much room for leverage for hand-turning. Couldn't loosen the old filter. These pliers open wide enough and the jaws are thin enough to easily get around an oil filter. For about $10, this little tool saved the day. Quality of the jaw slip slot adjustment is okay, but not great like you would expect of some high-end slip-joint-style pliers. I took a star for that. But otherwise, the pliers are okay and very handy to have. Price is right.

I decided to take it upon myself that I would change my oil for the first time ever. This was a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, and I did not learn how to change the oil before buying myself the necessary equipment, including this oil filter wrench. This product works exactly as it was advertised - it clamps are the round oil filter and you twist it. HOWEVER, due to the location of the oil filter in my car, I could not use it in the intended orientation (which was my fault). I was able to pinch the oil filter using this tool like a pair of pliers, a testament to how strong this wrench is. ABSOLUTELY MAKE SURE YOU CAN USE THIS WITH YOUR CAR BEFORE BUYING! As far as the product itself goes, it was what I expected. There is a slip on the handle to adjust position. There was good slip resistance and it was easy to grab. The jaw fits oil filters from sizes 60mm to 102mm which covers oil filters on most vehicles. It is a good product, but with some cars it can't be used as intended. However, if this is what you need I would recommend it.

Ordered this because a mechanic decided to change my oil without asking me and put on a random oil filter torqued to absolute hell. Great wrench! Recommended!

Provided for the easy removal of my trucks oil filter. The slight angle of the tool's jaws allowed for easier access in tight quarters.
