PCI-E bridge plugs directly into motherboard card and effectively multiplies the number of cards supported. The card interfaces with existing PCI-E slot and provides two USB 3.0 ports that can directly connect to USB PCI-E riser cards.

Sounds too good to be true, but it really works!
At first I didn't think this could possibly work, but for $20 it was worth checking to see if I could get more than three GPUs in my micro-atx motherboard. MSI B150M Gaming Pro.I tried the two PCIE X1 slots and do dice. I set it aside for a week thinking it wasn't going to work for me. Then after thinking about how PCIE lanes work, some come from the CPU, like the x16 and some come from the chipset, connected to the SATA, sound, etc... So I tried it in my x16 slot. It worked! I've got two GPUs running out of my x16 slot, and video even works through them for the OS!For those of you wondering, there was not performance hit for mining. I get the same MHs rate for dual mining Ethereum/Decred as using the cards on separate slots.Next I'm going to try the 4x version of this to see if I can get four GPUs on a single slot. I know I could just buy a Motherboard with more slots, but you have to maximize the amount of money not spent.
