I found this product while surfing through Amazon Giveaways. I didn't win, but I got a discount code, so I went ahead and ordered one. It works like advertised but can be a little messy, depending on the ingredients used. Works great for one person to have a big salad, or for two people to have a side salad with their meal. To be honest, it's just as quick to chop up the ingredients without using the product, so I'm gonna chalk this one up to an impulse buy.

The cover slats are very flimsy so the food moves around and the pieces are inconsistent. The softer fruits and vegetables end up almost pulverized while the harder foods slide around and don't get cut up at all. I bought mainly for fruit salad and was very disappointed. I also tried to cut up vegetables for roasting but the knife got caught in a broccoli stalk and pulled the cover off. Vegetables all over the counter. Honestly, it was easier to cut everything up on a board and throw it in a bowl. Sorry I bought.UPDATE; Seller saw my review and offered refund so I gave it 4 stars. I was a little skeptical at first about this, but after using i loved it. It really makes cutting up a salad so easy. I usually get lazy in making a salad because of all the preparation for it and then cutting everything up one by one. Now i just wash them stick in the bowl and cut away and voila, a delicious salad. I highly recommend this.

Too flimsy but a good concept if I knew how to use it. I didn’t like my results. Veggies looked “massacred”. I may try it again. I know I’m not returning it so may as well give a few more try’s before throwing it away.

The plastic is very thin. 1st time I used itPlastic broke while cutting up just a head of lettace
