I needed to add some rivnuts to mount a ladder on my truck. After I got over the anxiety of drilling through the body panels of my truck I did a couple of test rivnuts on a scrap of sheetmetal and then went ahead with the final. Went smoothly and I now have a sturdy ladder on my truck. My friend used it for something on his jeep. Comes with a good variety of nuts. Now I'm looking for other things to rivnut!

Works as advertised, but has a steep learning curve on small sized nutzerts - it’s easy to over-pull and strip or lean a little sideways and snap it off. Luckily the tip inserts (mandrel?) are replaceable and available from several manufacturers on Amazon.

Used for lugs on sim-racing frame. Good tool.

I installed stainless steel rivet nuts into my truck fender for my fender flares (easy on easy off) and my wifes car bumper: corner kept coming out. and it was a saver. It is an incredible investment.

EDIT-The seller contacted me concerning the unit and shipped a complete replacement unit to me quickly and at no cost. I was under the understanding that my my unit was out of the warranty time, but the seller informed me it was not. Outstanding customer service as far as I'm concerned. The head pulled off this unit on the first fastener I inserted. The aluminum threads are stripped beyond repair.
