The software is good, but it lacks Motorola S-Record support. Only binary and intel hex formats are supported.

I recently bought some AM2732A EPROM chips to fix vintage computers, and my TL866II Plus wouldn't program them. Looked up the datasheet and found out they require 25V programming voltage. Purchased this programmer and it worked first try.

Cleary states that it will support a VPP of 25v. I have yet been able to actually program an eprom that uses this voltage the programmer just can't hit it through USB so it'll be fine for most of your eproms but it can't do everything that says

Reading and Burning E proms is New territory for myself, I have boxes of old motherboards that needed the e proms backed up and or written a updated Bios code. For The price, This does quite a bit, This item was not a quick easy Install, a bit confusing on the software download, I had to hunt and peck quite a bit to figure it out what I needed, Once that happened, The driver found the device NO Issues, was reading and burning within a few Minutes, Still learning a lot about what all it can do. Great value for the $$$. Hopefully the seller can clean up their software site a bit, would be very helpful.

This thing is fast for reprogramming bios eeproms.

Tried few different EPROM chip (512k) and they didn't work with this device. I was able to read correctly the content of the chip, but when I was writing the result was not working. Erased the chip multiple times and the result was always the same.Not sure if I had a defective unit but it didn't work as expected.

The only down side of this is that you have to use it with the vendor's Windows software. If your infosec practises forbid you from using foreign software on a net-connected machine, that can be a problem. The open source project for driving prommers from Linux has not yet caught up with this hardware but is being worked on. That aside, it works very well.

Me parece que es el programador rey de bajo costo que pueden encontrar. Lo compre porque necesito programar una 2732 cuyos voltajes de programación son de 25 V y que esté programador dice soportar, no cómo el modelo anterior el TL866. Es original y viene hasta con una especie de amuleto de buena suerte (algo que jamás había visto en un producto así). Recomendado al 100.
