Best camera system I've ever had
I had a week to play with these cameras and I am very happy with them. They are responsive and quick to capture motion, the night vision is excellent, and for the money/value, they beat the competition. Fast/easy to install and set up, and not having to pay a cloud vendor for storage is great. There is however a few caveats I noted after a week of using.Caveats1. The motion detection (even when turned up higher in settings) does not appear to go past 30-40 feet. This means that when I had it on one side of my house, it had a great view of the whole yard, but would not capture motion when people were on the opposite end of the yard. I ended up moving the camera closer to the areas where people could enter the house (facing the opposite direction) so it would capture the video of people coming/leaving. Be strategic and test all motion during installation. You may end up changing locations due to this.2. In areas of high motion (like where my kids were playing all day long), the camera was all day long capturing 1 minute segments of video. The battery dropped from 100% to 70% after just a half day. There are a few options you can do such as putting the camera to sleep (but then you capture no video during that period) or hard-wiring the camera to a power source. I ended up ordering a solar panel to resolve this issue.Pros:1. Price2. Ease of setup/installation3. Aesthetics4. Night vision (It captured every attempt I made to circumvent the night vision motion detection at night when entering the screened in door or walking around the house).5. Image quality6. Configurable zones of motion (this is amazing so your cameras don't get set off by people walking, neighbors vehicles, etc)7. Base station records a LOT of video before looping.8. The AI alerts are impressive, and just overall features (talk, sound alerts) etc.Overall I am 100% pleased with this setup. Anytime you buy tech, there are always minor caveats that have to be worked through. For areas of high motion, I recommend hard wiring or solar panels. My other cameras are still at 100% after being installed for a week. They get less motion, just when cars leave or people enter the home.

Great customer care
Customer service provided by Lynette was timely and responsive. My home base malfunctioned causing a disconnect from the network. A call was placed to customer service and we tried different protocol to reconnect and it was determined to be failing to establish connection.Lynette assured me she would send out a new home base which I received in a matter of days. This also included a new power pack and Ethernet cable connecting the router to the home base. All parts were swapped and connection was reestablished and cameras were back online after a short connecting sequence.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Lynette, her communication and timely delivery of needed replacement parts!

Tech support is everything
This is a great system that is easy to use. I had some issues with the home base and contacted tech support where I spoke with Nathan regarding my problems and he very clearly walked me through the process of troubleshooting. After determining the home base was the problem He directed me to Lynette who very quickly arranged to send me out a new home base unit. Lynette was very professional , helpful and easy to talk with.Thank you Aosu support team.Billy

Trouble setting up, Good support tem
I originally purchased the AOSU two-camera security system in November 2024. I encountered some issues during the setup process, so I contacted customer service, and they were very helpful. After about 2.5 months, the system was working great, and I was very satisfied with the sensor sensitivity, video quality, and lack of subscription fees. However, after I recharged the cameras for the first time, they stopped pairing with the home base. When the cameras were supposed to scan the QR codes, the codes never appeared in my mobile app. I reached out to customer support and repeated the setup procedure multiple times, but the cameras still wouldn’t pair. I confirmed that the home base was connected to our internet (through both networks) and that I could see the AOSU cameras in my Bluetooth settings. Customer support concluded that there was an issue with the cameras, and they sent me replacements.Despite their help, the same issue occurred with the replacement cameras; I was still unable to set up the security system. I was pleased with the first 2.5 months of use, but this situation left me very disappointed. The support team escalated my case to management, who decided to issue me a refund, for which I was very grateful. However, I began to wonder if the problem might be with the home base, and I am now requesting a home-base replacement. I hope they will grant my request, allowing me to try setting up the system again.Overall, their product is good, with no subscription fees, and the customer service team is very helpful. The management team responds to emails within 24 hours and is very accommodating. I would rate them 4 stars if they provide a replacement home base that works. For now, however, I would rate them 3 stars, especially after spending over 120 minutes on the phone with customer service.

Great Cameras, Easy Setup
We picked this product because it was wireless and easy to set up. It worked great and we love the ability to check the cameras remotely. It works so well, in fact, that we purchased a second Aosu system for my parents shortly after setting up ours.
