Works great
I’ve been using this for a while and it never disappoints. Helps me fall asleep quickly and wake up feeling refreshed. Tastes great, dissolves fast, and no grogginess in the morning. Highly recommend!

Really tasty AND effective sleep aid
I'm 40, but have been dealing with sleep problems since I was about 14. I have a sleep disorder that means I struggle...a lot...with sleep. I've done multiple sleep studies, tried numerous RX sleep aids, OTC sleep aids, OTC antihistamines, RX antihistamines, muscle relaxants, beta blockers, alcohol, CBD, using RX stimulants in the morning...working with multiple therapists...walking my clock forward, walking my clock backward, strictly maintaining my sleep schedule, using sleep deprivation to try and reset my circadian rhythms (under the guidance of a sleep doctor), using bright light therapy, restricting blue light sources after 5pm, restricting ALL light sources after 5pm, using exercise and using meditation over the last 20+ years in various combinations to try and correct this problem. Compounding the situation is the fact that I sleep walk and sleep talk somewhat frequently. Sleeping is the bane of my existence. If someone told me they could wave a magic wand and give me 10 million dollars or fix my sleep issues, I would chose sleep over money.I've tried using melatonin in the past, but the sleep doctors at the time had me taking a larger dose (about 10mg) 60-90min before lights out. They have also had me try using time release melatonin - all to no avail. In fact the larger the dose of melatonin the WORSE my sleep usually got.Back in January 2023 I started seeing a new sleep specialist. He put me on a different combination of RXs, but on top of that, he asked me to use a very SMALL dose of melatonin (0.5 to 1.0mg) roughly 5 hours before bed. Over time, we've been walking back the time I take the melatonin by 15min every 1-2 weeks. For the first time EVER, I've gone 4.5 months with just 1 sleep walking episode, no car accidents, no oversleeping...just NORMAL sleep!!! Some of this is because of his guidance, but a LOT of it is due to this product. Everything else that I'm taking (the RX sleep meds) are things I've taken with very limited success in the past.Taste wise, this is a pretty delicious chewable strawberry flavored tablet. It's a little more tart than sweet. The consistency is reasonable and fairly soft. The taste is good enough that a number of times I've been tempted to have more than one - just because they ARE that tasty and enjoyable! So you combine a product that is VERY affordable, tastes really good, has a tolerable consistency AND WORKS WELL - there literally is no downside to this melatonin supplement. My advice is just to stick to the small dose size, take it 5-6 hours before you want to be asleep and give it a few weeks of consistent use to see if it works for you, too.

Good stuff for regular melatonin users.
This says "1mg" , but it hits harder than the 20mg worth of gummies I was using. Good and fast acting sleep. Pleased with the taste. If you usually use the gummies, start low with this pill

Better sleep and tastes great
As a mostly recovered insomniac, I've tried melatonin supplements once in the past and had dreams so weird I decided never again. Since then, a few people have told me that most melatonin supplements are way too potent, so I got this Natrol brand 1mg kind to try. The first night I felt a little weird but not enough for it to be at all traumatizing like my previous experience. During subsequent nights I've felt completely fine; better, in fact. Bonus points for the chewable tablets that taste a bit chalky but otherwise are really good.My sleep schedule is really whacky, getting up at 6am for work some days and 10 or 11am on my days off to catch up on my sleep debt. It's a bad system but it works well enough, the biggest problem is having to go to bed at 10pm after sleeping in until 10am that morning. That's where this melatonin supplement comes in. When I need to get to sleep the night after sleeping in, I take it about 30 minutes to an hour before and I can get to sleep much more quickly without all the tossing and turning and racing thoughts. It took a couple days but now I stay asleep too all through the night (the first couple nights I fell asleep right away but woke up about 3 hours later).I'll definitely keep taking this supplement, and hopefully someday fix the disaster that is my sleep schedule lol.

Works in mysterious ways, but it does work
Prescribed to assist with 'getting sleepier earlier' as stress, life, etc., tend to keep the mind active and challenging to let go by day's end. It is by no means an Ambien in which the body builds resistance or tolerance to when taken regularly, thus requiring staged increases in dosage. This was a natural alternative to something the body needs anyway, especially if your regular nighttime meds quit bringing on the drowsiness.I love the flavor (a smooth strawberry), the quick dissolve (no granules, it dissolves to nothing), and the idea of regulating hormonal activity (perio, or full menopause) and still being able to get up in the a.m. (no hangover). The effect varies, night to night. Some nights I found a strange euphoria, others a surge of energy. Those are difficult to deny, but on to bed we must try. Then strangely, other nights a calmness, ready to sleep feeling comes over me. The key is to let it work, because it does seem to do the job. No middle of the night waking has occurred, and on the nights I skipped, I noticed the lack of it.At 1mg, the effect seems sufficient, even though the doctor suggested moving up 1mg per week (to a maximum of 5mg) until the desired effect is achieved. I think the 1mg is fine as long as you remember that this doesn't make everyone's eyelids droop, but it is working to some degree at a cellular level. I suppose a higher dose may satisfy the desire to get knock-down dead tired, but I already have a terrible time getting out of bed and do not want to make that any more difficult than it does. It does has many health benefits, as do all supplements, but a single magic pill does not exist. Trial and error, practicing good 'bedtime hygiene' and a little motivation to give something new a chance produces good results; better than doing nothing at all.

Works like a charm
I have a problem falling asleep most nights as I am premenapausal. My doctor prescribed me to try melatonin at night and I love the strawberry flavor and easy melt. It takes me about an hour for it to kick in but when it does, I am out.
