Zhu Zhu Pets – Hamster House Play Set with Slide and Tunnel

The media could not be loaded.  I was nervous when I read all the bad reviews. But I received it. The only thing I had an issue with was when I took it out of the wrapping it had this greasy nastiness all over the bag in the box. Like it was in the garbage or some thing. But all the parts are there, I washed them. Cleaned the hamster with a cloth, he was NOT dirty but I did it anyways. It all works perfectly. My son has autism, and he is really into these hamsters, so I decided to get him this so he would have another hamster & a little house. I looked at the picture to figure out how to put it together. If you have problems, make sure you look at the bottom of the slide they tell you which way they go like A -A and B to B & so forth. The yellow connectors for the ramp need to be properly clicked into place. Otherwise that’s probably why people said it was falling down. My son played with it for hours last night and not one time did anything go wrong. Very happy. Besides the greasiness it came in, LOL besides that everything is awesome. I just wish I would know if I was getting a new product or a used product. I was led to believe this was a brand new product and it came in the mail slimy and nasty and looking like was repackaged. But it all worked out. Maybe the person who put it in the bag ate something slimy? Idk? My son is VERY happy and that’s all that matters. He is eight years old and he loves it! Thank you Zhu Zhu hamsters for making my son open up and start talking to his little friend. The one he first got, Sophia says; “I love you.” It was like hearing; The Herald Angels singing, to hear my son say “I love you” I’d pay anything & give anything if it helps him talk. And the hamsters did it! I’m very grateful. Any other special-needs parents out there this is really great! Just make sure they don’t put it by their hair that happened, I had to cut it out but other than that, very awesome thank you. 🐹🙏🏼♥️🧩🧩🧩

I was a bit skeptical about buying the set after reading reviews, however, it was easy to piece together and the kids enjoy it. The pieces do fall apart occasionally, but it is easy to fix and doesn’t interfere with play.

I bought this for my 6 yr old daughter and she loves it! She plays with it for hours! I love how easy it is to put together and the instructions are easy to follow. It also comes with a decent amount of pieces. My only complaints are that it comes apart too easily ...if you move it from one place to another you have reassemble most times and the hamster is very vulnerable to getting fibers or hair stuck in its wheel and when that happens it hard to get the wheels to spin. My advice is to avoid carpet and just run it on floors. I do recommend though.

While my daughter lives this toy and the price was great, the pieces fall apart very easily... and a warning is listed to keep hamster away from hair as it can wind your hair up im its motor (so do not let your kids cuddle any of these hamsters).

Even though my pup [now 11 yrs old] chewed about all the fur coat off an older zhuzhu pet a friend gave us as dead last year the darned mouse just keeps on entertaining. All it needed was new AAA batteries. He thinks it is live prey, or close enough! Just for fun got this slide/tunnel/hamsterBot today . He's figured out how to open the tunnel covers to grab the mouse before he can climb to the blue slide, so I've had to tape those closed. Training him now to wait until the bot exits the slide to grab him and go. The whole thing cracks me up too. Anyway, well made, seems durable, and I know the electric rodent is very durable. Have fun and keep your smart dog excited and challenged.

Bought this for daughter's 7th birthday she was overjoyed. It may be a little difficult to put together but once together it's worth it. I do recommend cutting off the long tags on the Zhu Zhu pets because it helps to maneuver easier through the hamster house.

I bought this toy for my 4 year old daughter and she loves it. For the price of a zhu zhu pet you get a toy pet and a house. It's easy to assemble if you can follow directions. If it's falling apart after you assembled it that's only because you didnt click the joints into place.

Purchased this as a gift for my four year old that is hamster obsessed. The hamster arrived dead on arrival---tried multiple brand new batteries but the hamster would not work. It would make some awful noise but not move. Packaging was wrecked over the excitement of opening so I was about ready to throw the whole thing out when I noticed a card inside the box that said to contact the manufacturer directly for issues. I sent an email with details of the purchase and they got back to me almost immediately. They explained that they did not have any more of this product stocked but offered multiple other toys of equal or greater value to choose as a replacement. About a week and a half later, we received our replacement choice. I would highly recommend against this particular toy but I would be comfortable purchasing other products from the company given the customer service I experienced.
