SO FAR SO GOOD. VERY QUIET.
Price was right, and the on/off switch is a nice feature. It runs very quiet - so quiet that you almost don't hear it. Transfer rate is around 5 gallons a minute, which lets me transfer an entire 53 gallon barrel in under 15 minutes. So far I transferred about 400+ gallons with it (200+ gallons out of four barrels, and 200+ gallons back in) and it's working well. Only time will tell how long it'll last, but for the price I can't complain.

Great value pump!
For the money, this thing can't be beat. I've had this pump for about a year and it has been flawless. I did accidentally leave it on and ran it dry. Now it doesn't work. I don't blame that on the pump, it was definitely user error. Learn from my mistake, DO NOT RUN DRY!

Stay Away
When it worked, it worked fine. Fourth batch of beer (1 month in) and it started getting really noisy and had trouble pumping the wort. I should have just bought the more expensive brand name pump...

Easy to use instant brew equipment professional upgrade!
I’ve used this pump now in several brews, it works well and has produced very clear wort. It takes your system into the realm of the professionals with the ability to recirculate your wort, you can maintain more even temperatures by direct heating your mash tun, (you need to add some heat to maintain as pumping the fluid out and back in has the ability to lose heat) and pump the hot wort wherever you need it. I can’t say how long it will last as I’ve only used it a few times, but it is very quiet and seems well made. Easy to clean, just pump fresh clean water or sanitizer/cleaner through it.

Slow
it is a nice quiet pop, although has no head pressure or suction at all it must be laid flat from one bucket to the next bucket other words it will not work right and very, very slow.

Great budget wort pump
Simple, budget friendly chugger style pump. Moves wort well, assuming it is plumbed in correctly! I bought this to circulate wort through a chiller, recirculating in the tun and transferring to the fermentor. After receiving the pump I immediately disassembled the pump head. The head is metal, so that is nice, but the machining is rough and could probably do with some cleanup. I didn't notice any metal particles left over but I thoroughly cleaned and rinsed the head prior to use in case there were shavings or machining oil. The instructions say it should be at least one foot lower than the outlet of the vessel, but I think I am closer to 9-10 inches and it does fine. I've recirculated starting with almost boiling wort for a few hours at a time, and I've even tortured it using a prefilter that got clogged and it still works (mental note, always put restrictions AFTER the pump, not before).

Good pump for the price
This is a great pump. The only downside is there is no on off switch and it is controlled by the power cord. Other than that it works great. I have used it multiple times now and no leaks or issues. It is not self priming so keep that in mind but those usually cost over $200 so as long as you have a little bit of gravity the pump works great.

Worked wonderfully the first time! Just used it for the second time, and it's dead. Looks like at this price it was too good to be true.

Used this pump for 6 runs and it will no longer move fluid. Not a recommended.

Due to the time it took to run the first test, we missed our return window. The product came with a faulty seal, which we discovered once we hooked up the pump. If the seller would like to connect and warranty the pump that would be a nice gesture.
