The eneloop AA batteries are fantastic. They hold charge well and last a long time in devices like clocks, gamepads, and home security sensors. The batteries arrive pre-charged and ready to use, but I topped them up for about 15 minutes before using them, just for peace of mind.I bought them with the storage case which to me is super handy, so I don't lose the batteries.While a bit pricey, the quality and long-term reliability make them a solid investment for anyone using rechargeable batteries regularly. Highly recommended for those who want dependable performance.

In my opinion, Sanyo Eneloops always have the best for power storage and recharge cycle life, often beating other brands labelled as being a higher capacity. The battery skins can be a tad thin and wear more easily but that's about it. I use them in camera battery packs and flash units. Very few failures in any given batch if any. Mixed and non matched batteries of mixed ages happens and has seldom become a problem but not recommended.

I’ve had a few sets of these batteries along with other makes too . They do seem to last for some time so good for certain devices such as battery powered candles, gaming controllers and automatic scent sprays. I did originally purchase for blink cameras but they don’t last anywhere near as long as lithium batteries. It’s worth paying the extra for lithium to not have to change so often.

If you want reliable and excellent quality AAA and AA batteries, buy these!

So having owned rechargable batteries since the end of the nicd days and jumped on many batteries, I never once owned eneloops. Until now.Decided to order these two and will get some AAs on payday. Just wow. They arrived and feel heavy. Compared to even the energiser AAAs I have, the eneloops scream quality in their weight and even the label and no plastic in their packaging, these are the Japanese eneloops. Reading actual tests, these seem to hold up to the 2000 charges they claim, which could easily last well over a decade.Unless you really* need the extra 20% capacity, I'd go for the normal eneloops over the pro, even with a moderately high drain Sony walkman professional as they are much hardier to abuse due to thicker plates.Ditch the alkalines. The low self discharge of these would make them suitable for even a wall clock!Note that pre charged isn't pre fully charged. I have a walkman that I only got 6 hours of life from, then got exactly the same life from some fully charged energiser 500 mAh cells (so these must have had only around that in it) Popping the drained eneloops on the charger to a full charge gave me the full usable life.I would keep this in mind.

Always buy these, replaced all the batteries in the house and have enough for all the Christmas decorations, never failed

Been using eneloops for about four or five years now. They really do hold their charge while sitting on the shelf for well over a year. These are the third-generation ones with higher capacity than previous generations too.I have nothing negative to say about them. Make sure you use a halfway decent smart charger with a delta-V charge cutoff though, to prevent overcharging.
