I have an Xbox series S which came with a wireless controller. Bought a headset that works well but covers both ears. So wanted a Chat Headset so I could hear whats going on around me. I purchased three different chat headsets. Everyone I could chat with but could not hear through the ear piece. All chat coming in went through the TV. I was very distraught. Then saw this adapter, so bought it to try, not expecting it to make a difference. But BINGO the Chat Headset works beautifully. They can hear me I can hear them and no longer has to come through the TV so if you’re having problems, that adapter will solve it for your headsets.

So far this adapter is what I needed to get the full max volume through my head set because the audio jack on the controller would cut in and out not giving the head set max volume when the volume is all the way up on the head set. I’m using a brand new Xbox labs controller and the audio jack came apparently faulty BUT this adapter works great so far. However if you’re using a silicon controller sleeve like mine you will need to trim it just a bit for the adapter to fit with the sleeve over the controller. After a small trim the sleeve fits a lot better with the adapter attached. This is what I needed to fix my audio problems on my controller.

Doesn't really work on my elite controller. Audio cuts out if you wobble the adapter. Had to return and got a used official Xbox adapter that works perfectly.

I had a mic that wasn't working and a friend purchased this and recommended it to me so i figured why and i got and its perfect it fixed the mic and i was back to gaming and chatting in no time.

This was ordered as a gift for my nephew. He is very happy with it and this is the exact one he sent me from his list.

Worked when I first got it, friends said that I was quieter when I used it but no other issues. After about a month it stopped working. I would lose audio in the middle of games and rooted the cause to this because when I removed it from the controller, there were no longer any sound issues.

Fits perfectly in the Xbox Series X controller! I bought it in hopes that it would eliminate a buzzing sound in my earbuds and mic and it did just that! My mic is clear without any buzzing sound!I'm using the HyperX Cloud II earbuds with it.(It also works with cheap Samsung earbuds)
