Pool Rx Booster Black 20k-30k Gallons - 4 PK

I have a 30k pool. I bought this in addition to the PoolRx ball. I have had a hard time keeping control of yellow algae. I've used many different (expensive) products without lasting results. I live in the Phoenix, AZ valley and the water gets up over 90 degrees farenheit in the summer. This has worked wonderfully. I will add a canister every three months and replace the ball after a year. I have not had any algae return since using the product.

For 18 years I battled yellow algae in my pool when the weather warmed up here in a Houston. One of my pool techs suggested this three years ago & the Pool Rx Black is gold. It kills all algae. However, if you backwash before the first 2 weeks, all is lost. So do follow the directions & you’ll be a happy cat. 😁

PROS: Fast shipping, PriceCONS: Arrived clump; Looked as though moisture had soaked into the product, therefore I have to open container, hammer it out and place it in a different container.

No algae!. Much lower chlorine levels required as it’s not needed to kill algae but just disinfect the pool.All you need is PoolRx, chlorine tabs and a little acid now & then. Perfect KISS system for family pools.

Great late season booster to get you through winter. Pays for itself by saving on chemicals. Makes pool care so much easier.
