Small and neat package. Good wifi range. Good app. Alexa integration works to some extent.
I am using this to monitor temperature in a greenhouse that is 25 meters from the nearest wifi router. It connects perfectly. It integrates into the 'Smart Life' app very well. I have tried adding the sensor to Alexa and IFTT. I am still working on Alexa integration. For some reason the Alexa app only shows the humidity reading and not the temperature. However if I ask the Echo dot what temperature the sensor gives, it tells me.

Perfect for turning my heating pump on/off using python script
Picked this one as it mentioned Tuya and other compatibility as I need to connect to them to get the temperature using python and turn my heat pump off. I did have to register the device and enable it on the Tuya cloud and could not connect via a local IP (it does not have one) but the cloud works fine and reliable. I have given it 5 stars as the temperature reading is more accurate than my heat pump one and seems real time plus I can get data out via API. Battery lasts well, must be over 6 months it's still going.

Nice device but stopped working after two weeks
I didn't want to give this device a poor rating because it arrived promptly, it was easy to set up with the smart life app on my phone. It measured the temperature and humidity and that info I could pick up on my phone. Unfortunately after about 2 weeks when I opened my app I would get a message that the signal was lost. Tried new batteries and went through the set up process dozens of times but it wouldn't link. Strange thing is the LED on the device would flash, my app would recognise it but when I clicked on setup the LED would stop flashing and the set up would time out. This is why I have rated it as high because none else has written a review where the device has failed so I am assuming mine was a rare one off. Returning the defective device through Amazon was easy peasy. Considering taking a risk and purchasing again.

The email export functionality is really limited
While the device is generally well set up and works well for monitoring temperature and humidity, the data export options are disappointing. When exporting by day, you get great hourly readings, but exporting by month or year only provides one reading per day. Frustratingly, there’s no way to export all the data comprehensively, which is a feature most users would expect. This limitation makes the export functionality almost useless for deeper data analysis. Otherwise, it’s a solid product.

Nice idea but:::: update they now work
Unfortunately despite many attempts could not complete the pairing process with SmartLife. As a guess my Wi-Fi password was too long. Shame, some good engineering. It deserved to work.Amazon refunded.Update: After many months I tried again and it connected. There is some obscure WiFi property that my original network did not support. Problem is with SmartLife app not device.Only humidity exported to Alexa. This is most annoyingUPDATEThe batteries provided are not of the same quality and best replaced with a pair of Duracell or Aldi blue AAA. Original batteries probable cause of setup problems. The device communicates once per hour or after significant change of conditions. Communicating over WiFi takes a lot of power for the few seconds it takes and you need batteries with a low internal resistance.Reasonably good range. These communicate directly with your broadband router or access point, no need for an additional hub or interface node, but it does require good batteries.

Easy to set up
Work perfectly and really simple to set up. I tried setting up in multiple “home” apps and worked perfectly in all of them

Inaccurate and unstable
I have a few Tuya/Smartlife products already but these, unfortunately, aren't very good. They always show a network connection error if I test the device, they randomly go offline and the temperature accuracy is questionable. The temperature is at least 3 degrees out when compared with 3 other independent thermometers in rhe same area.I spent a long time with the seller, giving them the opportunity to resolve it and I can't deny that they were friendly and helpful. However, the problems weren't resolved and the offered me a full refund, which I took.
