This thing works really well
This worked better than expected. The hose is extra long. I hooked it up to a 18v Ryobi vac and suction was really strong. It captured about 95% of the dust. It takes a little more effort to sand due to the suction, you'll get tired faster, but the extra effort is a good trade off with the dust. The hose makes it a bit awkward to use, but the handle configuration helps. Overall, good product.

Impressive results. Easy to connect to a shop vac. Cut dust down significantly. Could use a longer hose.

Works well
I run a handyman business. Hated doing drywall repairs because of sanding dust especially from ceiling repairs. This product actually eliminates dust. Easy to install to vacuum hose. Well designed handle is comfortable to use. Don't even need to rinse hangs when cone!

Finally, No Drywall Dust!
Excellent product!I love this sander with dust collection capabilities. I hooked it up to our shop vac, turned on the vacuum and started sanding down my drywall joints. No Dust! Yay!

Helped with dust control
Used for overhead drywall joints. Was a little awkward at first until I developed a technique. Really cut back the dust. Hooked up to my shop-vac hose with duct tape and an adapter that I made from another vac. Had double length hose then. Worked great. Still had to hand sand for smoothness but the dust was minimal. Cut the cleanup to almost nothing. I would recommend it.

It's hard to move
It reduces dust by a lot. At the same time you need to hook it up to a shop vac, and the suction is ridiculously strong. The pads wear out very fast. I'm a big guy and I struggle to move this thing back and forth for too long. They have a section of the unit that's for suction control but it does nothing.

Really works well to control dust
As far as dust collection, it really does a nice job (90% or better). I attached to a 5 gal shop vac and the suction will hold it against the wall even on the lowest setting. The star removal is because you're dragging around a shop vac that definitely slows you down and it's more work to use. Final thought is that it's hard to lightly sand as the suction is strong.

Not worth buying
This sander vacuum did not work at all. We used it in our kitchen and it didn’t work as described. Kept clogging up and stopping. Ended up sanding by hand.
