Can’t put it down!!
Nicholas Kardaras’s first book, “Glow Kids” was my favourite book about the impact immersive technology was having on this generation of children, but it had me looking in the mirror with regards to what the impact was on myself, and the adult population at large. When I saw that Nicholas had written this book, I pre-ordered immediately. It did not disappoint! I love his writing style and no-nonsense approach to sharing the tough truths we deserve to know. Hope is provided to the reader as we also learn that there is an antidote to the digital madness we are facing. Don’t hesitate to get this book!!

certainly thought-provoking
I love a good sociological text. While many of the observations weren't really new to me, there was plenty to keep me interested. I hadn't heard about the increase in tourette's like symptoms in young people watching videos of people with tourette's on social media. There are also interesting discussions around social media's impact on suicidal behavior, gender identity and more. The author does discuss ways to lessen the hold digital media has on us, but I felt there was more room left in this area. Overall, a great book and certainly thought-provoking.
