The product is a nice piece of tech but it does not cover a 1000 sq ft room or house easily or cheaply. It puts out a nice scent and the app for scheduling and monitoring capsules is great but do not expect whole house covering or expect it to compare to a scented candle. The nature of the machine works that unless it's on all the time, you won't get it to fully scent a medium to large-sized room. The larger the room, the longer it needs to be on plus the more intensity you have to select. Also the temperature and humidity of the room affects the scenting as well. Unless you're going to buy multiple Aeras, I strongly suggest you stick to plug-ins and candles.

The first thing I noticed about Aera when it came out of the box was the clean, modern design. It blends into my home decor beautifully. It was really easy to set up to run manually and within minutes of it being on, my living area was filled with scent. It's hard to believe such a small device can cover so much area. I've used candles and misters for years but this is a different result. I had friends over yesterday who had visited us many times remark (for the first time) how nice it smelled. I'm a fragrance lover and am really pleased with the experience. A bonus is the cool factor that my husband likes- the ability to run Aera remotely from our phones. We struggled a little bit getting the mobile app to work but once we figured it out we were ok. I like that we can set it to run to our schedule and not waste fragrance. Aera claims that a cartridge should last 1-2 months. We'll see. If that's true, we'll be spending a lot less than we were on candles for a much better experience.

Aera has quickly become one of my favorite ways to make my home smell fresh & clean. I have had so many guests come into my home and instantly compliment me on how nice it smells. Moondance is my signature scent, it's very warm and romantic. Vibrance wasn't for me, a bit too floral but I am excited to try more fragrances. The system was easy to set up, although I did have some trouble with the app at first. The scents last forever, well worth the investment!

Excellent product. When using the Prolitec iPhone App it is easy to set up and program the schedules and the amount of scent required. Currently have 2 units and they are both very quiet and efficient and work as advertised. The emitted vapor is dry and leaves no residue. They also have an excellent customer support group that responds in a timely manner to any inquiries.

I feel this was a complete waste of money and I wish I had returned it. It doesn’t freshen the the few feet around it much less a whole room. Glade plug ins put out more fragrance than this does.
