Exactly what it seems
If you need spots to plug in components to be able to build your latest project, this will help get you on the way.

Cheap for a reason.
These are okay at best. I mean you get plenty of space for prototyping but you can tell they are VERY cheaply made.

Good product great price
Works well

Holes blocked and others lose contact
The boards have holes that are impenetrable, even with a straight pin. Contact holes get loose after inserting a few medium size component leads into the holes, and stop holding parts upright. However, the jumper wires work well. I'll need to throw away the larger boards and get some made somewhere else other than China. You get what you pay for. Chinese stuff is junk.

Works
These work as they are supposed to: the two larger bread boards have power/ground rails running vertically on each side. They might good contact with the hook up wire. The wires have rubber boots at each end which is nice.

Good Selection!
ONLY negative: Breadboard holes are very tight for many component leads...

Standard breadboards and nice jumper wires
These breadboards are very similar to others I've used in recent years - not as solid than they used to be 20-30 years ago but still fully functional. They have the peel-off adhesive backing that also serves to cover the board's internals, and on the larger boards, to keep the power rails attached. I don't make use of the adhesive (which has a tendency to peel away from the breadboard itself), but I suppose it can be useful to some. The breadboards also have the little notches on the sides to link them together for stability in larger projects. The notch size and spacing is compatible with my other breadboards. The jumper wires have a softer and more flexible insulation than most other jumper wires I've used. The pin covers at the end are rounded and thinner than the square DuPont connectors on my other wires. I actually like these round pins better, as they make it easier to fit two wires side-by-side on the breadboard. None of the pins were loose or falling off, which is something I've run into with some jumper wires in the past. Great wires here.

Very economical and functional but otherwise unremarkable
BOJACK 1Pcs 803 Tie Points and 1 Pcs 400 Tie Points Solderless Breadboard and 65 Pcs Flexible Breadboard Jumper Wires and 6PCS 170 Points Mini Solderless BreadboardI know that my husband uses breadboards in his work, so I got this for him. This is a decent, inexpensive breadboard and jumper wire kit that any hobbyist or engineering student can put to good use. The breadboards are pretty generic and are the kind backed by double-sided foam tape. Personally, my husband doesn't find these work well for long term use because the peel-off backing on the foam tape eventually starts peeling off, especially if it ends up in a book bag. If you plan on using them a lot, he recommends sticking them to a thin piece of cut Plexiglass (acrylic) when they're new. As for the jumpers, they've got cheap molded plastic ends instead of the square Dupont style that have a standard 0.1" (2.54 mm) spacing for both headers and the breadboards themselves. Still, they work fine for quick prototyping. Highly recommend.
