BarkWood Large Pet Crate End Table - Grey Finish

The design and hardware are horrible for assembly. There’s a point where you need to reach inside over two feet, left-handed, to drive a screw at a 90-degree angle. At another point, plan to crawl into the crate on your back and install 8 screws overhead. As if that wasn’t bad enough, three screw heads stripped almost immediately, so I had to replace them with screws from my workshop (which were 10 times easier to install). I’ve put plenty of self-assembled furniture together, but this one is in the top 2 or 3 worst designs and installations. This is definitely NOT easy to install. Whoever designed this did so on paper and has zero grip of reality. And then there’s some sloppy lacquer (4 spots/splashes about the size of a quarter) dripped on the top like a drunk man stumbled over it while staining it. AND the corner of the top piece is damaged from shipping, so I’ll need to repair this “new” furniture! Because of the damage and lacquer smudges, we had to cover the crate with a quilt - defeating the point of getting this style of wood crate to begin with. We have a similar style dog crate for our first dog and we’ve been waiting for months for it to come back in stock. We rolled the dice with purchasing this product instead, completely regretting our decision. Our first crate is so, so very much better. I kind of hope this falls apart soon so we can buy something that meets our expectations. What a waste…

I invested money into this crate/bed. My puppy chewed right threw the bars on the sides and on the door. My puppy also ate the pieces of plywood or whatever it is this is made out of because it's not real wood.I am very upset about this. My puppy was sick from chewing on it during the night. I was asleep.I bought it to crate train and to provide a bed for my puppy. It is not made of the right materials for puppies. It should be chew proof.I bought it because I thought I was getting a safe crate/bed.I have to throw it out.I would most definitely like a refund.Shannon Sequeira

The product arrived with no defects. It was very easy to assemble and very sturdy. My German Shepherd is approximately 72 lbs and she is able to walk inside, turn around and stand with no issues. I would recommend getting a soft mat as the bottom is also wood. I love the product and makes the area look very clean and matches with other furniture.

Had cracks on the wood and requested a replacement and it can with splits on the top part of the wood.

I follow the Directions to a T and it took me about two hours to put it together but unfortunately it wobbles. I’m sure this is an error and putting it together but I don’t know how I would do it differently as I followed every direction to a T

This dog crate was exactly what we were looking for. It had the look we wanted and was easy to assemble. One issue we have with it and one of the reasons we are only giving it 2 out of 5 stars is because there was a small hairline crack on the crate top when we received it. The bigger issue is one of the pilot holes drilled for screw placement was off and caused the screw to fully penetrate the exterior wood surface and come out of the face of the crate leaving a visible hole/mark. This is disappointing because otherwise the kennel is great.

This item by no means is built for a 45lb to 90lb dog. The poor dog that size wouldnt be able to move around at all. Customer service is a pain to deal with to even process a return. Find someone else to buy through.
