Beautiful product. Great design.We had two problems with our first stool...one of the screws came out... that was my fault for over tighten. Recommend not over tightening.Second... it started to mold within a month...customer support was beyond amazing. Super communication. Very fast response. And sent us a replacement right away.Recommend sitting the stool in the sun periodically... drying it off as often as can, and lacquering once every few months. It comes prelaquered, but an extra coat helps.

Product was easy to assemble. Bamboo is a hardy wood for wet environments however, the manufacture's finish does not withstand regular shower usage. I have to sand and refinish it on a monthly basis. Glued joints separated after the first month and I had to re glue them with proper non-water soluble glue.

This corner bench started out great, until it molded three weeks into use. Very disappointed with this product. I contemplated using a spray on gloss or something to protect the wood because the bench is in my shower. I held off thinking this product would withstand. It’ll be going in the trash soon due to the excessive mold growing. I’ve even used mold remover but it doesn’t seem to be helping and instead strips the color leaving the stool a whiteish color.

This sits in the corner of a walk in shower and holds lots of stuff and me. Tilts forward toward drain so I placed its forward leg on a wedge of wood no problem.UPDATEAfter less than 90 days of use as a shower stool, it has extensive black mold covering maybe 20 of its surface. This is a dry northern Colorado environment. So I guess maybe it becomes a plant stand outdoors. Not coming in the house again.

Loved the bench when I got it. Assembly wasn't too hard. BUT, within a very sort period of time, there was mold on the feet, then on the bottom. It's a shower seat. It's supposed to get wet. It was in the far corner, so never had water pouring down on it, and I leave the shower curtain partially open, so there's no excuse for the mold. Very disappointed.

When we moved into our new house we wondered why there were not places to set shampoo or conditioner in the shower! We went on line and found this Corner Shower Bench and Seat and stool. It is not that large for me, but the wife has used it for sitting and shaving her legs with ease. A great looking item that is highly finished. You will not be disappointed with this one!

This bench was nice looking. But how can you call it a shower bench and then say DO NOT SOAK? There is mo way you put it in a shower and not get it soaked. Would make a nice corner seat, but thats not what I wanted it for. It has been returned. Please read all reviews before purchasing.

The bottom level has a little bit of a lip on the front which prevents water from running off it, and causes the wood to turn black (assuming mold).No other complaint or issues. My wife put it together without a problem. Looks nice. Works well.
