First of all, this worked very well. However, I stored the cold brew pieces all put together. When I removed the infuser, there was a pop and the carafe cracked. The glass is very thin. I am ordering a second one because it does make great cold brew. I will just not store it all put together anymore.I have edited my original review. The Kungroo company reached out to me. They are sending me a replacement for my broken cold brew maker. They have a 60 day replacement/refund policy. I explained what happened to my carafe. I was out of the 60 day refund so they offered to send me a replacement. I really appreciate this.

I don't know where cold brew coffee has been all my life! I love cold black coffee, and this is the very best coffee that I've ever tasted. It is smooth and rich tasting without bitterness or being watered down.The Kungroo coffee maker makes really good coffee. The glass bottle is very stylish, sturdy, and is easy to wash. I especially like the fact that the heavy lid has a gasket that fits onto the diffuser tightly, then another gasket creates a tight fit onto the glass bottle. The diffuser has very fine holes for brewing and is easy to clean. I dump the grounds outside in my flower beds and just rinse the diffuser before making another batch. I coarsely grind my own beans, and there is a little bit of sediment on the bottom of the container, but not enough to bother about. It took me a couple of brews to get the grind right. However, I've never had a batch that was not heavenly.I may have to buy a second brewer next summer so that there is always coffee in the fridge! I highly recommend the Kungroo brewer to anyone who loves coffee!

Let me start off by saying I have never had a customer service experience quite like this. When I ordered the item, they emailed me to let me know they got the order. When it got to me, they wished me well hoping I enjoyed the item. Furthermore, as I’m the type to use something for a while before I review, they then reached out asking if I had any issues and how they could make up for them. This kind of service, these inquiries to make sure of my satisfaction, is something I had never gotten on Amazon before. 10/10 would buy products from them again based on that.To review the actual coffee maker, it works great for what it is, which is to say a small, personal cold brew maker. It doesn’t make all that much at a time, but is easy to clean and durable, so great for a bachelor/bachelorette, but not a whole crew. Makes great coffee depending on the beans you use. It will have a small amount of “sludge” at the bottom, but that’s normal and a super-easy fix is to just strain it through a reusable coffee filter.Overall: 10/10 and will look for more of their products in the future.

This works well and seems to be high quality. It's true in that the lack of heat and using courser grounds creates a much less acidic coffee that needs little sweetener/ cream as compared to a standard cup of coffee. My husband really enjoyed it as a birthday gift. My biggest cons for this are: 1.) The size -- while it makes a more concentrated coffee, it only holds about 32oz of coffee which, while they spell this out clearly in the description, I wasn't really realizing how small it was until I saw it. That said, it works well for my husband as he is generally the only coffee drinker in the house, and one batch lasts him 1 1/2 - 2 days. 2.) Promotional codes -- I was annoyed because I saw this specific cold brew iced coffee maker advertised in a few places and came with a pretty decent discount code that didn't expire for another week, but no matter which browser I used and how many times I tried it, the discount code gave me an invalid code. At that point, however, I had already convinced myself that it'd make a good bday gift for the coffee loving husband, so I went with it, begrudgingly. While I'm not a coffee drinker myself, I really appreciated the taste of the cold brew coffee; it reminded me a bit of those ready-made Starbuck's Frappuccino's with only a fraction of the sweetener and cream my husband typically adds to hot coffee, so the low acid feature is very appealing, and made me realize that coffee could actually be refreshing and delicious without a bunch of unhealthy add-ins.

I've had more than my share of cold brew coffee makers, this is the first one I've come across that had more than 7 seconds worth of thought put into it. If I were to make one myself, this is what it would be. Key features that this has over the others (which seam like common sense when I mention them): there's a separate gasket for the lid and the filter. There's a spout but the gasket is big enough to actually still seal it. The stainless filter is actually clean construction, all the other ones had metal splinters sticking out where it was wrapped around and spot welded (or whatever process it is), this one was clean, you know, like something you prepare food in. And there's a handle, which isn't required, but its nice.

This is as simple as it gets. I grind the beans as course as my grinder permits, add it to the sleeve, and run filtered water through the sleeve into the pitcher. I use about 85 grams of coffee. It makes the smoothest cup of coffee. I haven’t brewed coffee in the conventional methods since this thing arrived.Cleaning is pretty straightforward. I just pop out the sleeve, empty the grounds into the trash by shaking the tube, and then rinse out any remaining grounds. Some of the grounds do get through the sleeve filter, but when it’s done brewing I will pour all of it through the pour over system so it passed through a coffee filter. That extra step ensures that no grounds get into my cup. Once it’s done brewing I will transfer it into a carafe so I can start the batch for the next day. Total game changer. This product will absolutely give you what you’re looking for. I’m so glad I opted for this over one of the more expensive cold brew systems.
